ville and Not Required for that Purpose to be Crown Land
Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in
the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land
Act 1948, as from the 27th day of September 1971.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport
hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Grey County)
   Notice No. 1, 1971.
2. The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby
   declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of
   section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby
   declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of regulation
   27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
4. The road specified in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby
   declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes
   of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
5. The notice dated the 17th day of May 1966+ under section
   52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic
   Regulations 1956*, which relates to Grey County is hereby
   revoked.
   FIRST SCHEDULE
   SITUATED within Grey County at Karoro:
   No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and
   Greymouth) (from the southern boundary of Greymouth
   Borough to Weenink Road).
   SECOND SCHEDULE
   SITUATED within Grey County at Southbeach:
   No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and
   Greymouth) (from the access road to Southbeach Railway
   Station to a point 9 chains measured south-westerly generally
   along the said State Highway from Power Road).

   PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport
   hereby gives the following notice.
   NOTICE
6. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Cook County)
   Notice No. 2, 1971.
7. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby
   declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes
   of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, to the intent that a
   person driving any motor vehicle thereon at any time during
   the period commencing with the 20th day of December in each
   year and ending with the Tuesday following Easter each
   year shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of 30 miles
   an hour fixed by the said section.
8. The Traffic (Cook County) Notice No. 1, 1968 dated the
   25th day of June 1968+ under section 52 of the Transport
   Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956,
   which relates to the Cook County is hereby revoked.
   SCHEDULE
   SITUATED within Cook County:
   At Waikanae Beach, Centennial Marine Drive.
   At Waihirere, Domain Road (from the Ormond-Gisborne
   via Waiohika Road to the Waihirere Domain).
