RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan No. 6, 1971, of $80,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wallace County Council hereby resolves:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $80,000, authorised to be raised by the Wallace County Council pursuant to the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Wallace County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0069c in the dollar on the rateable value of all property within the County of Wallace, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 30th day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years or until the loan is fully paid off."

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Wallace County Council held on the 2nd day of September 1971.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 30th day of August 1971:
Renewal Loan No. 3, 1971—$195,300
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and ninety-five thousand three hundred dollars ($195,300) to be known as Renewal Loan No. 3, 1971-$195,300, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Abattoir Loan, 1959-$1,000,000, City Baths Loan, 1959-$270,000, Streetworks Loan, 1959-$400,000, Waterworks Reticulation and Treatment Loan, 1959-$356,000, and City Works Loan No. 2, 1950-$870,400, which mature on 1 October 1971, the said Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one nought of a cent (.010c) in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years or until the loan is fully paid off.

ROTORUA COUNTY COUNCIL
SECURITY RATE
Aquatic Centre Loan 1971—$60,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rotorua County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $60,000, authorised to be raised by the Rotorua County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of erecting an Aquatic Centre Complex, the said Rotorua County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0235c in the dollar upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the County of Rotorua, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years or until the loan is fully paid off."

Pursuant to sections 13 (2) and 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Collingwood Riding of the County of Golden Bay, taken on Saturday, 4 September 1971, on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of $12,000, to be known as the Collingwood Hall Rebuilding, Stage II, Loan 1971, for the purpose of completing the rebuilding of the Collingwood Memorial Hall and to provide some furnishings, resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 193 The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 67 The number of informal votes was 2
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
