days from the first publication of this notice addressed to the
Secretary of the Christchurch-Lyttelton Road Tunnel Authority.

SCHEDULE
All that parcel of land situated in the Borough of Lyttelton
containing four point eight perches (4.8 p.), or thereabouts,
being part of Simeon Quay, and being part of the land com-
prised and described in certificate of title, Volume 404, folio
100 (limited as to parcels and titles), Canterbury Land
Registry, subject to section 23 of the Land Transfer Act 1952,
and to Caveat 7772; as the same is shown edged blue on a
plan lodged at the office of the Chief Surveyor of Christchurch
as S.O. 10875. A small piece of land adjoining Simeon Quay.

GREY COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Grey
County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $73,000, authorised to be raised by the Grey County
Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of
providing sewerage and treatment works in the Karoro County
Town, the said Grey County Council hereby makes a special
rate of decimal four four nine of a cent in the dollar upon
the capital value of all rateable property of the Karoro County
Town, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on
the 17th day of August in each and every year during the
currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years or until the
loan is fully paid off.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
The following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Wellington City Council held on the 30th day of August 1971:
Basin Reserve Improvements Additional Loan, 1971—$146,500
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of one hundred and forty-six thousand five hundred
dollars, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council
under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of completing
the purpose for which the Basin Reserve Improvements Loan,
1970—$225,000 was sanctioned, the said Wellington City
Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought
six of a cent (.006c) in the dollar upon the rateable value (on
the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
within the whole of the City of Wellington, and that the special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of
the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April
in each and every year during the currency of the loan,
being a period of twenty-five (25) years or until the
loan is fully paid off.

THE POVERTY BAY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Poverty
Bay Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of four hundred thousand dollars
($400,000), authorised to be raised by the Poverty Bay Electric
Power Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose
of extending, improving, adding to, and reinforcing the reticu-
lation in the constituent districts of the Cook County (including
the Patutahi Town District), the Waikohu County, the
Waipau County, and the City of Gisborne, and for purchasing
equipment, plant, tools, instruments, motor vehicles, land, and
the construction of buildings, the Poverty Bay Electric Power
Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal
nought two three two of a cent (.0232c) in the dollar on the
rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable
property in that portion of the Poverty Bay Electric Power
District as is contained in the constituent districts of the Cook
County (including the Patutahi Town District), the Waikohu
County, the Waipapu County, and the City of Gisborne, and
that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day
of April in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of twenty years (20) or until the loan is
duly paid off.”

EAST COAST BAYS BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Storm Water Loan 1971, $40,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the East
Coast Bays Borough Council resolved:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
the Storm Water Loan 1971, $40,000, the Council hereby
makes a special rate of decimal nought one three nine three
four cents in the dollar (.013934c in the dollar) upon the
rateable property in the Borough, and the special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August each year
during the currency of the loan being a period of 25 years or
until such loan is paid off, and Council doth hereby appropriate
and pledge the said rate as security for the said loan.”

I certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting
of Council held on 4 August 1971.

KAIKOURA PEST DESTRUCTION BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kaikoura Pest Destruction Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on
a loan of $7,500, authorised to be raised by the Kaikoura Pest
Destruction Board under the above-mentioned Act for housing,
the said Kaikoura Pest Destruction Board hereby makes a
special rate of 0.00012c in the dollar on the capital value of
all the rateable property within the Hundalee and Kaikoura
Wards of the Kaikoura Pest Destruction Board’s district, and
that the special rate shall be an annual-receiving rate during
the currency of the loan being for a period of 20 years or until
the loan is fully paid off.”

RAETIHI BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Raetihi
Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $14,000, authorised to be raised by the Raetihi Borough
Council, for the purpose of meeting additional costs on Raetihi
Water Supply Improvements Scheme to supply water to Raetihi
Township, the said Raetihi Borough Council hereby makes a
special rate of 0.0069c in the dollar on the unimproved value
of all rateable property in the Borough of Raetihi, and that
such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st
day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years
or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution
passed by the Raetihi Borough Council at its meeting held on
the 26th day of August 1971.
