PURSUANT to subclause 5 of regulation 18 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Wellington City) Notice No. 2, 1971.
2. The Minister of Transport hereby consents to the erection of flashing red lights at the places described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of traffic control in terms of regulation 18, subclause 4, of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
