  1. Small lots of goods chargeable at the rates specified in paragraphs 1, 3, and 4, will be
    charged as follows:

  1. Timber, wool in bales, and skins in bales, ex-ship railed to Christchurch for sorting and
    returned to Woolston or Lyttelton, will be charged as follows, including sorting and all shed
    handling charges, and costs of tarpaulins:

Wool and skins in bales .. .. .. 1.10c per bale undumped.
Timber n.o.s. .. .. .. 1.48c per 100 sup ft
Timber, hardwood (charged at K plus
50 percent) .. .. .. 1.88c per 100 sup ft

  1. The charges for ship's goods, Classes C, D, and G will be computed in accordance with
    section 127, General Scale of Charges.

  2. Storage Charges at Christchurch on Goods ex-Ship

  3. Goods discharged ex-ship at Lyttelton and conveyed to Christchurch for delivery will be
    allowed free storage on the first day they are available for delivery and the following day. After
    the expiration of this period, storage will be charged at the following rates:

For the first 4 days, per day or part thereof .. 40c per ton. Minimum charge
20c per day.
Each succeeding day or part thereof .. 80c per ton. Minimum charge
40c per day.

  1. When goods are stored in the open, storage will be charged at the following rates:

For the first 4 days, per day or part thereof .. 20c per ton. Minimum charge
20c per day.
Each succeeding day or part thereof .. 40c per ton. Minimum charge
40c per day.

25 and 26. Reserved for Future Use

  1. Livestock

  2. The charges per "H" or "J" wagon for the conveyance of livestock are:
    Commodity Single and
    Code From To Double Floor

  3. Livestock conveyed in Hc or Jc wagons between the stations listed will be charged at
    the foregoing rates plus one-third; livestock conveyed between the stations mentioned in
    "S" or "T" wagons will be charged double the foregoing rates.
