PURSUANT to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

This order may be cited as the Kaipara Pest Destruction District Order 1971.

The boundaries of the Kaipara Pest Destruction District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 22nd day of March 1971*, are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE KAIPARA PEST DESTRUCTION DISTRICT
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Waitemata County, containing 235,400 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast in Block V, Kumeu Survey District, in line with the north-western boundary of Ururua 1A 1, in Block VI, Kumeu Survey District, and proceeding generally north-westerly, easterly, and south-easterly, along the sea coast and along the line of mean high-water of the south-western shores of the Kaipara Harbour, to and along the left bank of the Kaipara River, to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 9, D.P. 45027, in Block XIV, Kaipara Survey District; thence easterly generally along a right line across the Kaipara River and the Newmarket-Opua Railway, to and along the southern boundary of that Lot 9 and continuing along the northern side of Maungakura Road and along a right line across Makiri Street, to and along the northern boundaries of Lots 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 15, the northern end of a public road, and the northern boundaries of Lots 16 and 17, all the aforesaid lots being shown on Deeds Plan C. 105 along a right line across Garfield Street, to and along the north-western boundary of Pukekorari Block and the production of that boundary to the northern side of Rautawhiri Road and continuing easterly generally along the generally northern side of that road and Inland Road to the southernmost corner of Allotment 89, Ararimu Parish; thence generally northerly along the south-western boundaries of Allotments 89 and 90 of the said Parish, to and along the south-western side of a public road, which forms the south-western boundaries of Allotments 82 and 80 of the said Parish and continuing along the eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 41271, and westerly along the northern boundary of that Lot 3, along a right line across State Highway No. 16, to and along the northern boundary of Section 11 of Block XIV, Kaipara Survey District, and the last-mentioned boundary produced across the Newmarket-Opua Railway to the right bank of the Kaipara River; thence northerly generally along the right bank of the Kaipara River and along the line of mean high-water of the eastern shores of the Kaipara Harbour, to and up the middle of the Makarau River and up the middle of the Rauhori Stream to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Allotment N64; thence along a right line to and along the north-eastern boundary of that Allotment N64, Makarau Parish, in Block III, Kaipara Survey District, to and along the north-western boundaries of Allotment N186, both the said allotments shown on D.P. 3068, parts of Allotment N187, Lot 3, D.P. 11758, Allotment 188 shown on D.P. 2543, to the northernmost corner of that allotment, in Block XIII, Mahurangi Survey District, all the aforesaid allotments being of Makarau Parish; thence southerly along the eastern boundaries of Allotment 188, Makarau Parish, along a right line across the Tahekeroa-Puhoi Road and the Newmarket-Opua Railway, to and along the eastern boundaries of that part Allotment 185, Makarau Parish, shown on D.P. 18176, Lot 2, D.P. 20898, along a right line across Tahekeroa Stream and Tahekeroa-Waiwera Road, to and along the eastern boundaries of Allotment 232, Makarau Parish, Lot 3, D.P., 26487, along a right line across the last said road, to and along the eastern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 26487, along a right line across the last-named road and along the eastern boundary of Lot 5, D.P. 26487, to the westernmost corner of Allotment 112, Waiwera Parish, in Block I, Waiwera Survey District; thence again easterly along the northern boundaries of that Allotment 112, crossing the intervening Tahekeroa-Waiwera Road, Allotments N113, 466, N134, crossing the intervening public road, Allotments W135, M135, N.E. 135, 270, 272, crossing the intervening Tahekeroa-Waiwera Road, Allotment 283, along a right line across a stream and Bayers Road, to and along the northern boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 39203, and Allotment 286 to the northernmost corner of that Allotment in Block II, Waiwera Survey District, all the aforesaid allotments being of Waiwera Parish; thence along a right line across the public road forming the northern boundary of part Allotment 89, and Lot 1, D.P. 50186, to and along the northern side of that road and continuing along the northern boundary of Allotment 89 and its production to and down the middle of the Waiwera River to a point in line with the northern boundary of Allotment 256, and along a right line to and along that boundary and along the northern boundaries of Allotments 242, 103, 102, 101, and along the north-western boundary of Allotment 104, all the aforesaid allotments being of Waiwera Parish, and along the production of the last-mentioned boundary to and down the middle of the Waiwera River, and the channel of that river, south of Te Koroto Block, in Block III, Waiwera Survey District, and again down the middle of the Waiwera River to and southerly generally along the line of mean high-water along the shores of the Hauraki Gulf to a point on the left bank of the Okura River in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 12038, in Block XV, Waiwera Survey District; thence southerly generally along a right line to and along the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 12038, crossing the intervening public road and along the eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 12038, along a right line across Wrights Road, to and along the eastern and southern boundaries of Lot 5, D.P. 12038, along a right line across Wrights Road, to and along the southern boundaries of Lot 3, D.P. 12038, and Lot 1, D.P. 52336, and along the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 292, Pukeatua Parish, to and along the north-eastern boundary of Allotment 303 Pukeatua Parish, and the production of that boundary to the middle of Wrights Road, in Block III, Waitemata Survey District; thence along the middle of that road, Lonely Track Road and Gills Road and the middle of a public road forming the north-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 53618, to and along the eastern boundary of Allotment 299, Pukeatua Parish, and along the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the right bank of the stream forming the eastern boundary of Allotment 27, Paremoremo Parish, and along the right bank of that stream, to and along the right bank of Lucas Creek, and westerly and generally northerly along the line of mean high-water of the northern shores of the Waitemata Harbour to and up the middle of the Rangitopuni Stream to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Allotment 10, Paremoremo Parish, in Block VI, Waitemata Survey District; thence north-easterly along a right line to and along that boundary, to and westerly generally along the south-western boundaries of Allotments 575 and 576, and along the southern and north-western boundaries of that part Allotment 165 taken for State forest by New Zealand Gazette, 1930, page 3748, all the aforesaid allotments being of Paremoremo Parish, to and along the northern and western sides of a public road forming the northern boundary of Section 3, Block VI, Waitemata Survey District, and of part Allotment 69, Paremoremo Parish, the northern and western boundaries of Section 2, Block VI, aforesaid, and the northern and western boundaries of Allotment 222, Paremoremo Parish, to the easternmost corner of Section 65H, Riverhead Homestead Settlement, in Block V, Waitemata Survey District, and along the generally eastern and southern boundaries of that section, the southern boundary of Section 64H, the northern end of a public road, the southern boundary of Section 63H, to and along the eastern and south-western boundaries of Section 66H and the southern boundaries of Section 62H, crossing the intervening public road, all the sections aforesaid being of the Riverhead Homestead Settlement, and along the southern boundary of that part Allotment 160, Paremoremo Parish, taken for State Forest by New Zealand Gazette, 1929, page 2415, the southern and western boundaries of part Allotment 48, the southern boundaries of parts Allotments 88 and 80, the eastern and southern boundaries of part Allotment 64, and the southern and western boundaries of part Allotment 61, all the aforesaid allotments being of Paremoremo Parish and taken for State forest by New Zealand Gazette, 1930, page 737, and along the southern boundary of Section 60H, Riverhead Homestead Settlement, to the eastern boundary of Lot 7, D.P. 19511, and southerly along that eastern boundary and its production to the left bank of the Kumeu River; thence westerly generally along that left bank to and along the left bank of the Kaipara River, in Block VII, Kumeu Survey District, to and along the south-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 13290, and the production of that boundary across the Newmarket-Opua Railway to and westerly along the generally northern side of State Highway No. 16, to and down the middle of the Waipatukahu Stream, in Block VI, Kumeu Survey District, to a point in line with the north-western boundary of
