LAND TO BE EXCLUDED FROM MOUNT ASPIRING NATIONAL PARK—OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

Ref. No. (66)
ALL that area in Lake County and Block VI, Greenstone Survey District, and Blocks IV and VII, Upper Wakatipu Survey District, containing 2,015 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the Fiordland and Mount Aspiring National Parks boundaries with the generally northern boundary of Run 418, in Block VI, Greenstone Survey District, and proceeding easterly along the northern boundary of that run to its intersection with the watershed of the Ailsa Mountains; thence generally northerly and westerly along that watershed and a leading ridge to the generally western boundary of Mount Aspiring National Park; thence generally southerly, westerly, and southerly along the last-mentioned boundary to the point of commencement.

All that area in Lake County and Matukituki Survey District containing 2,370 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the easternmost corner of Run 715 and proceeding north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of that run to its intersection with the right bank of Hester Pinney Creek; thence generally north-easterly from that creek up a leading ridge and along the watershed between the East Branch of the Matukituki River and the Albert Burn to the northern boundary of the Matukituki Survey District; thence north-easterly along that boundary to the north-western corner of Run 337; thence generally southerly along the western boundary of that run to the point of commencement.

All that area in Vincent County and Blocks VI, IX, and X, Haast Survey District and Hunter Survey District containing 10,750 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at Mount Brewster in the Southern Alps and proceeding south-easterly along a right line to its intersection with a tributary of Long Flat Creek and the State Forest; thence generally southerly along the western boundary of that State Forest to the northern boundary of Run 710; thence westerly and north-westerly along the northern and north-eastern boundaries of Run 710 and generally north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of Run 99 to the watershed of the Young Range; thence generally north-easterly and northerly along that range to the point of commencement.

All that area in Lake County and Dart Survey District and Block V, Upper Wakatipu Survey District containing 3,135 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at Mount Bonpland in the Humboldt Mountains and proceeding westerly along a right line to the generally eastern boundary of the Provisional State Forest in Block V, Upper Wakatipu Survey District; thence generally northerly along that boundary and the summit of the leading ridge to Upper Peak in Dart Survey District; thence generally southerly along the summit of the Humboldt Mountains to the point of commencement.

All that area in Lake County and Dart Survey District containing 210 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at Upper Peak, and proceeding generally north-easterly along a leading ridge to Trig. H; thence due east to its intersection with the boundary of the Mount Aspiring National Park; thence due south to the northern boundary of Run 778; thence easterly along the northern boundary of that run to the point of commencement.

All that area in Lake County and Cascade Survey District containing 1,025 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at Mount Tyndall at the north-western corner of Run 21 and proceeding generally north-easterly through the low peak of Mount Tyndall, along a leading ridge and along the right bank of Red Rock Stream to its intersection with the north-eastern boundary of Run 458; thence south-easterly and south-westerly along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Run 458 to the point of commencement.

All that area in the Lake County and Humboldtside and Forbeside Survey Districts containing 850 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at Farrell Peak in Humboltside Survey District and proceeding north-easterly along a right line to Toreador Peak in Forbeside Survey District; thence generally southerly and westerly along the watershed through Typhoon Peak, Mount Temple, and Trinity to the point of commencement.

All that area in Lake County and Dart Survey District and Blocks III and VI, Greenstone Survey District, and Blocks IV, V, VII, and VIII, Upper Wakatipu Survey District containing 11,360 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at Ocean Peak in Dart Survey District and proceeding generally easterly and southerly along a leading ridge to its junction with the Mount Aspiring National Park boundary; thence generally south-westerly, south-easterly, southerly, and westerly along that boundary to the watershed of the Ailsa Mountains; thence generally northerly and generally westerly along that watershed to the common boundary of the Fiordland and Mount Aspiring National Parks; thence generally northerly and generally north-easterly along that boundary to the point of commencement.

All that area in Lake County and Blocks II, V, VI, and VIII, Upper Wakatipu Survey District containing 3,000 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at Mount Bonpland in the Humboldt Mountains and proceeding generally south-easterly, westerly, generally north-westerly, and north-easterly along parts of the generally north-eastern, southern, south-western, and north-western boundaries of Mount Aspiring National Park to a point in line with the southern boundary of Run 778; thence easterly along the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the point of commencement.

Ref. No. (75)
All that area in the Lake County and Forbeside Survey District containing 795 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at Mount Caria and proceeding north-westerly along a right line between Mount Caria and the junction of the right bank of Halfway Creek with the left bank of the Arawata River to its intersection with the northern boundary of the Otago Land District; thence south-easterly along the last-mentioned boundary to its intersection with the watershed between the Arawata and Waipara Rivers; thence generally westerly along that watershed through Mount Ionia and Turks Head to the point of commencement.

All the above areas are shown on plan numbered 3126 and deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington.
