1971—$8,800

I certify that the Hutt County Council passed the following
resolution at its meeting on 22 July 1971:

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $8,800, authorised to be raised by the Hutt County
Council under the above-mentioned Act, for repaying on
maturity that portion of the Rimutaka Riding Sewerage
Reticulation Loan 1965 of $100,000 which matures on 1 September 1971, the Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies
a special rate of .0431 (decimal nought four three one) cents
in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable
property in the No. 65 Special Rating Area, being part of the
Rimutaka Riding of the County of Hutt, and that the special
rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency
of the loan and be payable on 1 April in each and every year
during the currency of the loan, being a period of 24 years,
or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I certify that the Hutt County Council passed the following
resolution at its meeting on 22 July 1971:

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $8,000, authorised to be raised by the Hutt County
Council under the above-mentioned Act, for repaying on
maturity those portions of the Plimmerton/Paremata Sewerage
Reticulation Loan 1961 of $462,000 which mature on 1 September 1971, the Hutt County Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of .018 (decimal nought one eight) cents
in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable
property in the No. 54A Special Rating Area of Taupo Riding
of the County of Hutt, and that the special rate shall be an
annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and

currency of the loan, being a period of 24 years or until the

CITY OF MANUKAU

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pakuranga Library and Office Buildings Loan 1971, $160,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $160,000, authorised to be raised by the Manukau
City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose
of erecting a library and office building at Pakuranga within
the City of Manukau, the said Manukau City Council hereby
makes a special rate of decimal nought one nought six cents
(.0106c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable unimproved
value of all rateable property in the City of Manukau, and
that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day
of April in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of thirty (30) years or until the loan is
fully paid off.”

TARARUA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tararua
Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest,
and other charges on a loan of $11,000 (to be known as
Redemption Loan 1971), authorised to be raised by the
Tararua Electric Power Board in New Zealand by consent
under the above-mentioned Act, and all other Acts and
authorities it thereunto enabling, for the purpose of repaying
at maturity those portions of the 33 kV Conversion Loan
$40,000 maturing on the 1st day of October 1971, the said
Tararua Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate
of 0.015 (fifteen thousandths) of a cent in the dollar upon the
rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all the
rateable property in the Tararua Electric Power Board
District as defined in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 31, of the
22nd day of May 1958, at pages 652 and 653, and that such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day
of October each and every year during the currency of
such loan, being a period of ten (10) years or until the loan
is fully paid off.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-Power Board hereby resolves as
follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $450,000, authorised to be raised by the Wanganui-
Rangitikei Electric-Power Board under the above-mentioned
Act, for the purpose of constructing a depot on Taupo Quay,
the said Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-Power Board hereby
makes a special rate of decimal nought one eight seven of a
cent (0.0187c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the
basis of the capital value) of all the rateable property in the
Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-Power District, and that such
special rate be an annual-recurring rate during the currency
of the aforesaid loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st
day of April in each and every year during the currency of the
said loan, but not exceeding a period of twenty (20) years or
until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-Power Board, held at Wanganui
on the 20th day of July 1971.
