OROUA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT TO SPECIFIED DEPARTURE
The Town and Country Planning Act 1953
Notice is hereby given that application has been made by
Christina Margaret Jones, of Palmerston North, widow, for
consent to erection of a dwellinghouse on her property situated
in Guildford Street, Ashhurst, subject to a building line of
60 ft from the road boundary.
The property is on the north-west side of Guildford Street
at Ashhurst and is located in a "Commercial" zone.
The legal description of the land is: Situated in Block I of
the Gorge Survey District, being part Subdivision "R",
Manchester Block, and being also Lot 306, D.P. 152, all C.T.
882/27 (Wellington Registry).
The application may be examined at the office of the Oroua
County Council, Manchester Street, Feilding, during normal
office hours and any person or body affected may object to
the application by notice in writing delivered to the County
Clerk, Oroua County Council, P.O. Box 3, Feilding, not later
than 4 p.m. on the 27th day of August 1971.
As soon as possible after submitting the objection to the
Council the objector shall serve on the applicant a copy of
the objection. Every objector shall state the grounds of the
objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the
Council in support of his objection.

THE MINING ACT 1926
GEOFFREY FRANCIS WALDRON, of Geraldine, school teacher,
Zeta Mary Waldron, of Oturehua, married woman, and
Patrick Leonard Waldron, of Oturehua, farmer, give notice
that they have applied to the warden of the Otago Mining
District at Cromwell for a licence for a water race to divert
two heads of water from Middle Creek and Falls Creek (two
tributaries of Mata Creek) in Run 585, Block VII, St. Bathans
District. The race commences in Middle Creek in Run 585
and runs in a southerly direction through Run 585, Run 665,
across the St. Bathans Loop Road and through Section 63,
Section 64, Section 53, Section 64, Section 22, Section 37,
Section 60, Section 67, Section 71, Section 72, Section 59, Sec-
tion 37, Section 38, Section 40, Section 43, and to a point of ter-
mination in Section 47, all sections being Block II, St. Bathans
Survey District. The application will be heard at the Warden's
Court, Cromwell, at 10 a.m., on the 7th day of September
1971. Objections must be filed in the Registrar's Office and
notified to applicants at least 3 days before the time so
appointed.

THE ROMAN CATHOLIC BISHOPS EMPOWERING
ACT 1954
Notice is hereby given that the Roman Catholic Archbishop
of Wellington has by Transmission No. 255961 made applica-
tion, under the Roman Catholic Bishops Empowering Act
1954, to be registered proprietor of an estate in fee simple in
that parcel of land containing 3 roods and 29 perches, more
or less, situate in Block X, Kidnapper Survey District, being
Lots 55, 56, and 57 on Deposited Plan 3427, being part
Waimarama 3 and 5, Section 2B Block, and all the land in
C.T. Volume D3, folio 1539 (Hawke's Bay Registry), of which
David Kennedy, of Greenmeadows, and George Augustine
Mahony, of Hastings, both priests (both deceased), are
registered as proprietors, and that such application will be
registered unless caveat forbidding the same be lodged within
2 months after 30 July 1971 by any person claiming the
beneficial ownership of any estate or interest in such land.
