RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Coromandel County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $20,000, authorised to be raised by the Coromandel County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purchase of land and erecting two staff dwellings thereon, the said Coromandel County Council hereby makes a special rate of .034c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Coromandel County, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

ONE TREE HILL BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Sanitary Sewer Reticulation Redemption Loan No. 1, 1971, $24,400
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the One Tree Hill Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-four thousand four hundred ($24,400), authorised to be raised by the One Tree Hill Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the issue of $30,000 of the Sanitary Sewer Reticulation Loan 1961, of $780,000, which matures on 4 August 1971, the said One Tree Hill Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought eight nine nought eight cents (.08908c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the No. 3 Special Drainage Area (Penrose) of the Borough of One Tree Hill, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

NEW PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the New Plymouth City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and twenty-two thousand dollars ($122,000), to be known as the Mangaotuku and Huatoki Flood Protection Loan 1971, authorised to be raised by the New Plymouth City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of carrying out flood protection work in and relating to the Mangaotuku and Huatoki Streams, the New Plymouth City Council hereby makes a special rate of nought decimal nought two five (0.025c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of New Plymouth, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the New Plymouth City Council held on the 19th day of July 1971.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Waterworks Treatment Plant Additional Loan 1971—$62,500
Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whakatane Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of sixty-two thousand five hundred dollars ($62,500), authorised to be raised by the Whakatane Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Water Supply Treatment Plant Loan 1969—$133,000 was sanctioned, the said Whakatane Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought seven cents (.07) in the dollar upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property over the whole of the Borough of Whakatane, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the said loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Whakatane Borough Council held on Monday, 5 July 1971.

BALCLUTHA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Centennial Sports Complex Additional Loan 1971, $30,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Balclutha Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
THAT, the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $30,000, authorised to be raised by the Balclutha Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the Centennial Sports Complex Additional Loan 1971, $30,000; the said Balclutha Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.072c in the dollar upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the Borough of Balclutha, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of November and the 1st day of May in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

PATEA COUNTY COUNCIL
RURAL HOUSING LOAN 1971—$35,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Patea County Council hereby resolved as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of $35,000, authorised to be raised by the Patea County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the making of advances to farmers, in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Patea County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one three seven (.0137) cents in the dollar on the rateable capital value of all rateable property comprising the County of Patea, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan; repayment of the loan to be made by equal aggregate instalments of interest and principal payable half-yearly in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.
