Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for a Teacher's Residence in
Block X, Clifford Bay Survey District, Town of Seddon

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement
to that effect having been entered into, the leasehold estate in
the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her
Majesty the Queen by the Marlborough Hospital Board under
and by virtue of lease in Perpetuity No. 137 recorded in
Volume 47, folio 290, Marlborough Land Registry, is hereby
taken for a teacher's residence from and after the 2nd day of
August 1971.

Notice of Intention to Take Land for Road in Block V,
Haparapara Survey District, Opotiki County

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work,
namely, the construction of a road; and, for the purposes of
that public work, the land described in the Schedule hereto is
required to be taken: and notice is hereby further given that
the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the
post office at Opotiki, and is there open for inspection; that all
persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by
the taking of the land should, if they have any objection to the
execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said
land, not being objections to the amount or payment of com-
pensation, set forth the same, in writing, and send the written
objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice,
to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any
objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public
hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector other-
wise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time
and place of the hearing.
