and along the middle of that road and its production to the
southern side of No. 7 State Highway; thence south-easterly
along that roadside to the northern boundary of part Section
26, Culverden Settlement; thence westerly along the northern
boundaries of part Section 26, Sections 27 and 28, and part
Sections 29 and 31, and southerly along the western boun-
daries of part Sections 29 and 31, Culverden Settlement, and
the eastern bank of Black Birch Stream, and along a right
line across the Pahau River to the north-eastern corner of
Lot 16, D.P. 3551; thence westerly generally along the eastern
and southern boundaries of that lot to Cascade Road;
thence north-westerly along the north-eastern side of
that road to the southernmost boundary of Lot 1,
D.P. 3550; thence north-westerly generally along the
generally south-western boundary of that lot and its
production to the middle of the Dove River; thence
south-westerly down the middle of that river and the
Mandamus River, and up the middle of the Hurunui River to
a point in line with the south-western boundary of Lot 2, D.P.
6080, Block XV, Mytholm Survey District; thence north-
westerly to and along that boundary and north-easterly along
the north-western boundary of the said Lot 2 to a point 5

3 miles and 20 chains due east of the confluence of Lake

northerly up the middle of that stream to Lake Marion and
along the eastern shore of that lake to its northernmost point;
thence westerly along a right line to Trig. H, "Nigger Head";
thence northerly and westerly along the eastern and northern
boundaries of Reserve 4382 to Hope Pass on the Main Divide
in Block X, Marion Survey District; thence north-easterly
generally along the Main Divide to the Lewis Pass and along
the summit of the Spenser Mountains to an unnamed peak
6,059' in Block II, Humboldt Survey District; thence south-
easterly along a right line through Trig. M.O. in Block IV,
Maling Survey District, to the shore of Lake Tennyson; thence
southerly generally along the generally western shore of that
lake to and along the middle of the Clarence River to a point
in line with the south-eastern boundary of Run 279, "The
Hossack"; thence southerly generally and easterly along the
generally western and southern boundaries of Run 208,
"Cloudy Range", to the middle of the Mason River; thence
north-easterly along a right line to a point 1 mile due south
of a point on the summit of a mountain range, bearing 205Β°,
distance 3Β½ miles from Trig. A, "Cloudy Range", in Block XX,
Acheron Survey District; thence due north to that point;
thence north-easterly along the summit of the aforementioned
range and the ridge leading into Palmer Saddle to the said
saddle; thence southerly to and along the middle of the
Conway River to the sea coast; thence south-westerly along
the sea coast to the point of commencement.

Alteration and Redefinition of the Boundaries of the Waikari

At the Government House at Wellington this 19th day of
July 1971
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council hereby makes
the following order.
ORDER
-
(1) This order may be cited as the Waikari Pest Destruc-
tion District Order 1971.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 15th day of
July 1971. -
The boundaries of the Waikari Pest Destruction District,
which was constituted by Order in Council on the 1st day of
March 1971*, are hereby altered and redefined and, as from
the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said
district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDS OF THE WAIKARI PEST DESTRUCTION DISTRICT
All that area in the Canterbury Land District, Waipara and
Cheviot Counties, containing 615,200 acres, more or less,
bounded by a line commencing at a point on the mean high-
water mark of the sea in the middle of the Waipara River,
in Block X, Teviotdale Survey District, and proceeding north-
westerly generally up the middle of that river and the south
branch of the Waipara River to its source, along a right line
to Trig. Station L, "Block Hill", in Block X, Okuku Survey
District, along another right line to Ashley Head, in Block
XII, Esk Survey District, and along the summit of the Pukey-
teraki Range and the Dampier Range to the summit of the
Main Divide; thence north-easterly generally along the
summit of the Main Divide to Hope Pass, in Block X, Marion
Survey District; thence easterly and southerly along the
northern and eastern boundaries of Reserve 4382, to Trig. H,
"Nigger Head", in Block XV, Marion Survey District; thence
easterly along a right line to the northernmost point of Lake
Marion; thence southerly along the eastern shore of Lake
Marion to and along the middle of Marion Stream to the
north-eastern shore of Lake Sumner; thence south-easterly
along that shore to the confluence of Lake Sumner and the
Hurunui River; thence due east along a right line for a
distance of 3 miles and 20 chains; thence south-easterly along
a right line to Trig. "Ben Cliberick", in Block XI, Mytholm
Survey District; thence north-easterly along a right line to a
point on the western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 6080, 5 chains
south of the westernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 6080; thence
southerly and south-easterly along the western and south-
western boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 6080, and the production of
the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Hurunui
River; thence easterly generally down the middle of that river
to the mean high-water mark of the sea; thence south-westerly
generally along that mean high-water mark to the point of
commencement.

Auckland
His Excellency the Governor-General directs it to be notified
that Her Majesty's Exequatur in respect of
Mr David John Bone
as Honorary Consul-General for Turkey at Auckland has
been issued.

Pursuant to section 3 of the Gas Industry Act 1958, His

Mr J. N. L. Searle.
