Setting Apart Land as a Maori Reservation


WHEREAS by notice dated 18 March 1971, and published in the Gazette, 25 March 1971, No. 22, page 540, the land described in the First Schedule hereto was set apart as a Maori reservation, and whereas it is now desired to make amendments to the said notice now, therefore, pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, notice is hereby given as follows.


NOTICE

  1. The reservation constituted by notice dated 18 March 1971, and published in Gazette, 25 March 1971, No. 22, page 540, relating to the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby cancelled.

  2. The whole of the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a meeting place for the common use and benefit of members of the Atihau-Whanganui Tribe.
