Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land in the City of Whangarei, Subject to Fencing Covenants and to a Building-line Restriction

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 5th day of July 1971, subject as to the land in the First Schedule to the fencing covenant contained in transfer A. 257673, North Auckland Land Registry, and subject as to the land in the Second Schedule to the fencing covenant contained in transfer A. 254764, North Auckland Land Registry, and to the building-line restriction imposed by A. 95868, North Auckland Land Registry.

Thames Valley Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1963, Amendment No. 3

Pursuant to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity hereby amends the Thames Valley Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1963* as amended by the Thames Valley Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence, Amendment No. 1 (Gazette, 19 September 1963, No. 56, p. 1451), and further amended by the Thames Valley Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence, Amendment No. 2 (Gazette, 13 June 1968, No. 37, p. 994), by deleting the Schedule thereto and substituting the following.

SCHEDULE

1. Lines and works for the transmission and supply of electrical energy within those parts of the Thames Valley Electric Power District as defined in the Third Schedule to the Proclamation dated the 2nd day of March 1950, and published in the Gazette on the 9th day of the same month at page 238, and in the Proclamation dated the 7th day of March 1958, and published in the Gazette on the 13th day of the same month at page 328, with the exceptions of the Boroughs of Thames and Te Aroha.

2. Lines and works for the transmission of electrical energy within the Borough of Thames as follows:

(a) A line commencing from the New Zealand Electricity Department's substation in the Borough of Thames and proceeding southerly to and over Burke Street to a line running in a southerly direction through the Thames Branch Railway Reserve; thence easterly along Williamson Street and generally southerly along Queen Street and Jellicoe Crescent to the southern boundary of the Borough of Thames, as the said line is more particularly shown by means of a broken red line on the plans marked N.Z.E.D. 744 and N.Z.E.D. 832, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

(b) A line commencing from the New Zealand Electricity Department's substation in the Borough of Thames and proceeding in an easterly direction to and across Tararu Road; thence northerly along Tararu Road to the northern boundary of the Borough of Thames.
As the said line is shown on the plans marked S.H.D. 397 and N.Z.E.D. 832, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

3. Lines and works for the transmission of electrical energy within the Borough of Te Aroha as follows:

(a) A line entering the Borough of Te Aroha across its northern boundary on Stanley Avenue, thence along the eastern side of Stanley Avenue to terminate at the Te Aroha Borough Council's main substation on the northern boundary of the Railway Reserve.

(b) A line on the Railway Reserve, entering the Borough of Te Aroha across its western boundary, thence along the northern side of the Railway Reserve in a direct line to the Te Aroha Borough Council's main substation on Stanley Avenue.
