LOWER HUTT CITY CORPORATION
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and in the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954:
NOTICE is hereby given that the Lower Hutt City Council, being a local authority within the meaning of the Public Works Act 1928, proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts and of every other power it thereunto enabling to execute a public work, viz, the realignment and reconstruction of Tirohanga Road in the City of Lower Hutt, and for the purpose of such work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken for street.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands described in the Schedule hereto and marked T.P. 737 is deposited at the offices of the Council, Administration Building, Laings Road, Lower Hutt, and is there open for inspection by all persons without fee during ordinary office hours.
Every person who is affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said pieces of land and who has any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such public work or to the taking of the said pieces of land (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) shall send his written objection within a period of forty (40) days from the date of first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Lower Hutt, at his office, Administration Building, Laings Road, Lower Hutt, aforesaid and if any such objection is made a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

ROTORUA COUNTY COUNCIL
SPECIAL RATE
Eastern Area Water Supply Redemption Loan 1971—$17,200
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rotorua County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $17,200, authorised to be raised by the Rotorua County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Eastern Area Water Supply Loan 1961 of $210,000 which matures on 2 October 1971, the said Rotorua County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0525 (decimal zero five two five) cents in the dollar ($) upon the unimproved rateable value of all the rateable property of the Eastern Area Water Supply Rating District, comprising the area described in the special roll prepared in accordance with Part II of the Local Authorities Loans Regulations 1957/28 on 15 November 1960, and plan of the Eastern Area Water Supply Special Rating District deposited in the County Office, Amahau Street, Rotorua, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Rotorua County Council at its meeting held on 25 May 1971.

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Urban Development Loan 1971—$50,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whangarei County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $50,000 authorised to be raised by the Whangarei County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of making urban road improvements, the said Whangarei County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0298c in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the County of Whangarei, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

TAUPO BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Electrical Reticulation Loan 1971, $63,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taupo Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of sixty-three thousand dollars, authorised to be raised by the Taupo Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of extending and upgrading the Council’s electrical reticulation system, the said Taupo Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three four seven cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Taupo, comprising the whole of the Borough of Taupo, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Taupo Borough Council at a meeting held on Wednesday, the 11th day of June 1971.
