A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto and comprised in a roadway laid out by the Maori Land Court by an order dated the 30th day of November 1910, to be street.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 9.8 perches, situated in Block XV, Omapere Survey District, Kaikohe Borough, North Auckland R.D., and being part Kohewhata 69 (Roadway) Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 25226 (S.O. 46319) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wanganui Education Board as a site for a school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

Boundaries of County of Cook and City of Gisborne Altered

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 21st day of June 1971
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
O R D E R

This order shall come into force on 1 July 1971.

The areas described in the Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the County of Cook and included in the City of Gisborne.
-
The alteration of the boundaries of the said county and the said city, hereinbefore made, shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
-
Notwithstanding anything in the Order in Council dated 16 March 1964, uniting the Counties of Cook and Uawa*, the Cook County Council at any time after the 1st day of March 1974 may, in its discretion, alter the ridings of the county and the representation of the different ridings in accordance with the provisions of the Counties Act 1956.

If the Council exercises the powers conferred by Clause 4 of this order, the provisions of clauses 2, 3, and 4 of the said Order in Council shall be deemed to have been revoked on the date on which the alteration takes effect.
SCHEDULE
FIRSTLY, all that area in the Gisborne Land District, County of Cook, Gisborne Riding, containing 90 acres 3 roods 24 perches, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the easternmost corner of Section 29, Block VI, Turanganui Survey District, being a point on the sea coast and also being a point on the boundary of the City of Gisborne as described in the New Zealand Gazette, 1968, page 1715, and proceeding westerly generally along the sea coast to a point in line with the south-western side of Awapuni Road, to and along that roadside to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 3386; thence northerly and easterly generally across Awapuni Road, to and along the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 3386, the north-western boundaries of Awapuni 1g 2a and 1g 3 Blocks, and the north-eastern boundary of the said 1g 3 Block, the northern and eastern boundaries of part Awapuni 1j 2a Block, the southern and eastern boundaries of Part Awapuni 1j 2b Block, the south-eastern boundary of Section 33, Block VI, Turanganui Survey District, and the south-western boundary of Awapuni 1f 2 Block to the northern side of Awapuni Road, along that roadside to the easternmost corner of Awapuni 1a 1 Block, being a point on the boundary of the City of Gisborne aforesaid; thence south-easterly along that boundary to the point of commencement.
Secondly, all that area in the Gisborne Land District, County of Cook, Gisborne Riding, containing 3 acres 2 roods 9 perches, bounded by a line commencing at the easternmost corner of Awapuni 1a 1 Block, being a point on the boundary of the City of Gisborne as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1968, page 1715, and proceeding north-westerly along the
