HOBSON COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1971—$70,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hobson County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of seventy thousand dollars ($70,000) authorised to be raised by the Hobson County Council under the abovementioned Act, for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Hobson County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one nought three cents (.103 cents) in the dollar on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the County of Hobson; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 20th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Hobson County Council held on the 1st day of June 1971.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Birchville Sewerage Reticulation Loan 1971, $180,000

I certify that the Hutt County Council passed the following resolution at its meeting on 15 April 1971.

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $180,000, authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for providing sewerage reticulation in the Birchville area, the Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two decimal six two (2.62) cents in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the No. 68 Special Rating Area being portion of the Rimutaka Riding of the County of Hutt and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on 1 April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Southland County Council proposes in pursuance of the Public Works Act 1928 to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road. Plans of the land proposed to be taken are deposited in the office of the Southland County Council, Forth Street, Invercargill, and are open for public inspection without fee during ordinary office hours.

All persons having any objection to the proposed taking of land must state their objection in writing and send the same to the Southland County Council, P.O.
