Acquisition of Land as Part of the Bluff Scenic Reserve
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired as a Scenic Reserve, subject to the provisions of part IV of the said Act, as an addition to the Bluff Scenic Reserve.

Approval of Revolving Amber Light for a Certain Vehicle
PURSUANT to regulation 39 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Secretary for Transport hereby approves the fitting of one revolving yellow or amber light on one vehicle owned or operated by Shell B.P. and Todd Oil Service Ltd., provided that:
(1) The vehicle is painted in a conspicuous colour; and
(2) The light be used only at the scene of a serious hazard resulting from the operations of the above company.

Maori Land Development Notice
WHEREAS, by virtue of the notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto, the land described in that notice was declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas it is desired to release that land from the provisions of the said Part XXIV.
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice—Whangarei, 1971, No. 13.

The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purposes of a cemetery and Marae site for the common use and benefit of the Maori people of the Kaingapiiwai district.

PURSUANT to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purposes of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the following Special Order made by the Hutt County Council on the 15th day of April 1971 is hereby published.
SPECIAL ORDER
“THAT, pursuant to section 3, Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Hutt County Council does, by special order, declare
Caper Spurge (Euphorbia lathyris)
to be a noxious weed within the County of Hutt.”
