named notice in writing of his intention so to do. The notice
must state the name, address, and description of the person, or,
if a firm, the name, address, and description of the firm, and
an address for service within 3 miles of the office of the
Supreme Court at Christchurch, and must be signed by the
person or firm, or his or their solicitor (if any); and must be
served, or if posted, must be sent by post in sufficient time to
reach the above-named petitioner’s address for service not later
than 4 o’clock in the afternoon of the 15th day of June 1971.

WHANGAREI CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1928

NOTICE is hereby given that the Whangarei City Council pro-
poses under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 to
execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of off-
street parking places in the City of Whangarei, and for this
purpose the said Whangarei City Council proposes to take,
under the provisions of the said Public Works Act 1928, the
land described in the Schedule hereto for municipal purposes.
Notice is further given that plans of the land so required to be
taken are deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk and
Chief Executive Officer to the said Council, situated in Bank
Street, Whangarei, and are there available for public inspection
without fee by all persons during office hours. All persons
affected by the execution of the said work or by the taking of
such land who have any objections to the execution of the said
public work or to the taking of the said land, must state their
objections in writing and send the same within forty (40) days
from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk and
Chief Executive Officer at the Council Chambers, Municipal
Building, Bank Street, Whangarei.

If any objection is made to the taking of the said land, a
public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector
otherwise requires. Each objector will be advised of the time
and place of the hearing.

Street in the City of Whangarei, and for this purpose the said

of the said Public Works Act 1928 the land described in the

office of the Town Clerk and Chief Executive Officer to the
said Council, situated in Bank Street, Whangarei, and are there

ing office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the

said work or by the taking of such land, who have any objec-
tions to the execution of the said public work or to the taking

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928:

Notice is hereby given that the Auckland City Council
proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act to
execute a certain public work, namely, parking under section
177 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, in the City of
Auckland, and for the purpose of such public work the fee
simple estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto is
required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a
plan of the land in respect of which the interest above described
is so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of
the Town Planning Department, Civic Administration Building,
Auckland, and is open for public inspection without fee by all
persons during ordinary office hours.

Every person affected who wishes to make any objection to
the execution of the said public work, or to the taking of the
said interest in the said land (not being an objection to the
amount or payment of compensation), must state his objec-
tion in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first
publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Civic Administra-
tion Building, Auckland. If any objection is made a public
hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector other-
wise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time
and place of the hearing.

ALL the fee simple estate in that parcel of land containing 25.7
perches, more or less, being Lot 195, Deposited Plan 9764,
which said parcel of land is portion of Allotment No. 27, of
the Parish of Titirangi, and being all the land comprised and
described in certificate of title, Volume 288, folio 138, North
Auckland Registry, and being situated at and known as 14
Huia Road, Point Chevalier, Auckland.

required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that
the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in
the public office of the Town Clerk of the said Council, situated
in Willow Street, Tauranga, and is open to inspection, without
fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours; that all persons
affected by the execution of the said public work or to the
taking of the said land should, if they have any objections
to the execution of the said public work or to the taking
of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment
of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the
