PAPAKURA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Water Supply Reticulation Supplementary Loan 1971, $11,300
THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Papakura Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of eleven thousand, three hundred dollars ($11,300), authorised to be raised by the Papakura Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for meeting increased costs for water reticulation, the said Papakura Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of point nought nought seven seven cents in the dollar (.0077c in the $) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Papakura, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

OHAKUNE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
“PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Ohakune Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $125,800, authorised to be raised by the Ohakune Borough Council under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, for a sewerage scheme to serve a special portion of the Borough, the Ohakune Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of three decimal two four one (3.241) cents in the $ on the rateable value of all rateable property of the special rating area, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
Certified to be a true and correct copy of the resolution passed unanimously at the meeting of Council held on Wednesday, 28 April 1971.

TAIHAPE BOROUGH COUNCIL
SPECIAL ORDER
SPECIAL order made by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Taihape, by resolution passed at a special meeting held on the 15th day of March 1971, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting held on the 26th day of April 1971.
That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 53 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Taihape Borough Council resolves by way of special order as follows:

In lieu of nine members, exclusive of the Mayor, the said Taihape Borough Council shall consist of eight members, exclusive of the Mayor.

The alteration hereby made in the numbers of the said Council shall take effect at the general election of Councillors to be held in the month of October 1971, except in so far and to such extent as may be necessary providing for that election.
Dated at Taihape this 26th day of April 1971.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act 1909, by writing under his hand dated this 17th day of May 1971, cancelled the registry of Court Te Mahia No. 10053, branch of the Auckland District of the branch of the Ancient Order of Foresters of New Zealand Friendly Society, Register No. 356/2 (56), held at Manurewa, on the ground that the said branch has ceased to exist.

The price of each Gazette varies and is printed thereon.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 10c per line.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.
NEW ZEALAND STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS
These are not now available from Government Bookshops but may be obtained from the New Zealand Standards Association, Private Bag, Wellington.
STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing), subscription $10 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, $5 per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon.
