Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Hawera Borough Council
Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes; and, further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Hawera, in trust, for that purpose.

Taranaki Land District—Hawera Borough
SECTION 51 (formerly part Section 5), Town of Hawera, situated in the Borough of Hawera: area, 3 acres 1 rood 5 perches, more or less (S.O. Plan 10130).

Definition of the Purpose of a Reserve and Vesting in the Roman Catholic Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Wellington
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto is a public reserve within the meaning of the said Act for the purpose of a cemetery for members of the Roman Catholic faith, and further vests the said reserve in the Roman Catholic Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Wellington, a corporation sole, in trust, for that purpose.

Reservation of Land

Southland Land District
SECTION 9, Block XV, Town of Wyndham, situated in Block I, Wyndham Survey District: area, 26.6 perches, more or less (S.O. 6893).

and in transit with two orange and black posts situated 6 ft and 15 ft out into the lake from the lake margin at normal lake level in a direction 47° true for a distance of one mile to a transit post painted in similar colours, thence along a line bearing 139° true for a distance of three-fifths of a mile to another similar transit post, thence along a line bearing 227° true through Willow Island to the shore where two posts similarly painted are situated in transit on that line of bearings, one on the lake margin at normal lake level, the other 15 ft out into the lake.
SECOND SCHEDULE
THE reserved area shall be marked as follows:
(1) Two 8-ft transit posts with a distance of 9 ft between and painted with 12 in. bright orange and black bands shall be erected on the lakebed in line with the northern side of the reserved area, the first post being sited 6 ft from the lake margin at normal lake level.
(2) Two 8-ft transit posts with a distance of 15 ft between and painted with 12 in. bright orange and black bands shall be erected on the lakebed in line with the southern side of the reserved area, the first post being sited on the lake margin at normal lake level.
(3) On each side of the transit posts sited on the lake margin at normal lake level and sited 6 ft from the lake margin at normal lake level, there shall be fastened in line with the sides of the reserved area a notice board measuring not less than 2 ft 6in. by 2 ft painted bright orange with black lettering in the following form:
“NOTICE
Motor Launch Regulations 1962
Area for motor launches and water skiers extends north-eastwards to orange and black marker posts one mile out and three-fifths of a mile apart.”
(4) At the place where boats are normally launched there shall be erected a post bearing a notice board measuring not less than 2 ft 6 in. by 2 ft painted bright orange with black lettering in the following form:
“NOTICE
Motor Launch Regulations 1962
Area for motor launches and water skiers extends north-eastwards from the orange and black transit posts surmounted by notice boards to the orange and black marker posts one mile out and three-fifths of a mile apart.”
(5) Two 8-ft transit posts painted with 12 in. bright orange and black bands shall be erected on the lakebed at the north-eastern and south-eastern corners of the reserved area.

Notice of Approval of Bylaws
Pursuant to section 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine and Fisheries hereby gives notice that he approves the Otorohanga County Council Kawhia Wharf and Foreshore Bylaws 1971, made by the Otorohanga County Council by special order and passed by the Board at a special meeting held on 19 March 1971 and subsequently confirmed on 23 April 1971.

Licensing Kaiaua Boating Club (Inc.) to Occupy a Site for a Boat Ramp at Kaiaua
Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Kaiaua Boating Club (Inc.) (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Kaiaua as shown on plan marked M.D. 14023 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a boat ramp, as shown on the said plan; such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
The Motor Launch (Lake Ellesmere) Notice 1971—Ellesmere County Council
Pursuant to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962*, the Minister of Marine and Fisheries hereby gives the following notice:
-
(a) This notice may be cited as the Motor Launch (Lake Ellesmere) Notice 1971.
(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette, and shall remain in force until further notice. -
Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 shall not apply with respect to the area described in the First Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
All that area of water in Lake Ellesmere in the vicinity of Timber Yard Point, bounded by a line commencing at a position on the shore near the tide gauge marked by a post and notice board bearing the words “Harts Creek Wildlife Refuge”,
