RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Titahi Bay Beach Development Loan 1971, $70,000

THAT, for the purpose of providing for the annual charges on a loan of $70,000, authorised to be raised by the Porirua City Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for Titahi Bay Beach Development Loan 1971, the said Porirua City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0357 cents in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the City of Porirua, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Porirua City Council held on 2 March 1971.

LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Gas Loan 1971

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Levin Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000), authorised to be raised by the Levin Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of meeting additional costs in providing for the use of natural gas, the said Levin Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0148 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value), of all rateable property in the Borough of Levin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE AS SECURITY FOR LOAN

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rotorua City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to be known as the Rotorua City Council Sewer Connections and Advances Loan 1971, $400,000, authorised to be raised by the Rotorua City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of installing lateral drains and making financial advances for connections to the sewerage system, the Rotorua City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought seven one five cents (.0715c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Rotorua and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan being for a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE AS SECURITY FOR LOAN

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rotorua City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of two hundred and sixty-five thousand dollars ($265,000) to be known as the Rotorua City Council Waterworks Loan 1970, $265,000, authorised to be raised by the Rotorua City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing a reservoir and transfer main and installing a pumping station, the Rotorua City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one nought eight cents (.108c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Rotorua and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan being for a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY CORPORATION
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

City Development Loan 1968, $750,000—Second Instalment of $200,000

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and its amendments, and all other powers in that behalf thereunto enabling it, the Palmerston North City Corporation doth hereby resolve as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on a loan of two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) authorised to be raised by the Palmerston North City Corporation under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing basic services necessary to develop the new areas taken into the city in 1967 and associated work, the said Palmerston North City Corporation hereby makes a special rate of three hundred and three ten-thousandths of a cent (0.0303c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (upon the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the City of Palmerston North, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

COUNTY OF HOROWHENUA
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Counties Act 1956 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendments, and the Rural Housing Act 1939 and amendments and regulations thereunder, and all other powers thereunto enabling it the Horowhenua County Council resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of seventy thousand dollars ($70,000) authorised to be raised by the Horowhenua County Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Horowhenua County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.02847 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Horowhenua; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
