All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands or the closing of the said portions of road who have any objections they may wish to make thereto, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, must set forth their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Rotorua County Council Chambers at the corner of Ranolf and Amohau Streets, Rotorua (the postal address of the County Clerk is P.O. Box 5028, Rotorua South).

If any such objection is made a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of hearing.

HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Sewer and Storm Water Renewal Loan 1971, $20,500

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hamilton City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $20,500, authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under the above Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Storm Water Loan 1964, $200,000, amounting to $19,040, which matures on 15 April 1971, and the Sewer Loan 1965, $100,000, amounting to $7,760, which matures on 15 April 1971, the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought three one of a cent (.0031 cent) in the dollar ($) on the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Hamilton and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on 1 April of each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 14 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Hamilton City Council on the 14th day of April 1971.

HOROWHENUA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
E.R. Loan No. 19, 1971—$400,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Horowhenua Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $400,000 authorised to be raised by the Horowhenua Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of supplying and distributing electrical energy for the benefit of the Horowhenua Electric Power District, and for such purposes to do all or any of such matters and things which the Board is empowered to do by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and its amendments and by all other powers and authorities it enabling, the Horowhenua Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of .037 cents in the dollar ($1) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Horowhenua Electric Power District, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 24th day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years or until the loan is fully repaid.”

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Horowhenua Electric Power Board held on 24 March 1971.

NEW PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the New Plymouth City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to be known as the Electricity Depot and Development Loan 1971 authorised to be raised by the New Plymouth City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of erecting depot buildings, developing, and improving the electricity reticulation system and works ancillary thereto, the New Plymouth City Council hereby makes a special rate of nought decimal nought seven five (0.075c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of New Plymouth, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the New Plymouth City Council held on the 19th day of April 1971.

RODNEY COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Wellsford Water Supply Redemption Loan 1971, $25,000

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rodney County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $25,000, authorised to be raised by the Rodney County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying, on maturity, those portions of the Wellsford Water Supply Loan 1960 of $134,500 which mature on 20 July 1971 and 31 October 1971, the said Rodney County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.2078 cents in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Wellsford County Town which also constitutes the Wellsford Riding of the County of Rodney, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the said loan is fully paid off.”
