RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Waihemo County Depot Purchase and Alteration Loan
No. 1, 1971—$17,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waihemo County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $17,000 authorised to be raised by the Waihemo County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of refunding $17,000 to the Waihemo County Council County fund account being the amount expended from that account on the purchase of a county depot, the said Waihemo County Council hereby makes a special rate of $0.00028854 cents in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Waihemo, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above-mentioned resolution is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Waihemo County Council at a meeting held on the 29th day of March 1971.

BLENHEIM BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Blenheim Golf Club Loan 1971, $10,000

“PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Blenheim Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) authorised to be raised by the Blenheim Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of carrying out alterations and extensions to the Blenheim Golf Club’s clubhouse, the said Blenheim Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.0064 cents in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Blenheim; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Blenheim Borough Council held on the 24th day of March 1971.

CAMBRIDGE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Supply Redemption Loan 1971, $11,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Cambridge Borough Council has resolved as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $11,000 authorised to be raised by the Cambridge Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Water Supply Additional Loan 1964 of $71,000 which matured on 10 March 1971, the Cambridge Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.021 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Cambridge, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 19 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Cambridge Borough Council held on the 31st day of March 1971.

Waikouaiti Elderly Persons Housing Loan 1971, $19,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waikouaiti County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $19,000, authorised to be raised by the Waikouaiti County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for erecting accommodation for elderly persons, the said Waikouaiti County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0575 cents in the $ upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Waikouaiti County Town of the County of Waikouaiti, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 15th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

MARLBOROUGH COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Marlborough County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $25,000 authorised to be raised by the Marlborough County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of providing a water supply and sewerage disposal service to the Fletcher Industrial Park at Riverlands in the Marlborough County, the said Marlborough County Council makes a special rate of six point five six six cents (6.566c) in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Riverlands Industrial Development Special Rating Area, and that the special rate shall be an annual recurring one during the currency of the said loan being a period of 25 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY

SPECIAL ORDER

THE Auckland Regional Authority in exercise of the power vested in it by the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, section 42, and in pursuance of the authority conferred upon it under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and in exercise of the other powers enabling it on that behalf doth hereby resolve by special resolution intended to operate as a special order, to borrow the sum of six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) as a special loan to be known as Bulk Water Supply Loan No. 19, 1968—$1,250,000, 4th Issue $600,000, for the purposes of meeting the costs of and incidental to the continued development of the Hunua Catchments.

The foregoing special order was passed at a special meeting of the Auckland Regional Authority convened for that purpose and held on 15 February 1971, and confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the said Authority held on 15 March 1971, having meantime been advertised in the Auckland Star on 20 February and 6 March 1971.
