Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not

Lyttelton Harbour Board Electric Lines Licence 1961,
Amendment No 1, 1971

PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Elec-
tricity hereby amends the Lyttelton Harbour Board Electric
Lines Licence 1961* by adding to the Schedule thereto the
following clause:

“2. A cable leading from the licensee’s substation situated
adjacent to the northern end of the licensee’s No. 6 wharf
and proceeding generally westerly to two points where it
crosses the Borough of Lyttelton; thence in an easterly direction
to the licensee’s dock substation and a cable leading from the
said substation in a easterly direction to Cyrus Williams
Quay; thence south-easterly generally crossing the Borough
of Lyttelton to the licensee’s oil wharf substation, the said
cables being more particularly shown coloured blue and
yellow on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 823 deposited in the
office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at
Wellington.”

Licensing Whakatane Harbour Board to Occupy a Site for a
Wharf in Ohiwa Harbour

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby licenses and permits Whakatane Harbour Board (herein-
after called the licensee, which term shall include its successors
or assigns unless the context requires a different construction),
to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the
Ohiwa Harbour as shown on plan marked M.D. 9982 and
deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellin-
ton, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a wharf as shown
on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the
licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth
in the Schedule hereto.
