Declaring Land Taken for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes and to be Crown Land, Subject to Mining Interests, in Block XI, Rangiriri Survey District, Waikato County

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby (a) declares that, sufficient agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to the mining interests reserved in certificates of title, Volume 544, folio 17, and Volume 544, folio 18, South Auckland Land Registry, for soil conservation and river control purposes from and after the 12th day of April 1971; and (b) further declares the land described in the said Schedule to be Crown land for the purposes of the Land Act 1948 as from the 12th day of April 1971, subject to the said mining interests.
