Declaring Portion of Road in Blocks V and VI, Tauhoa Survey
District, Rodney County, to be County Road

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works hereby declares that the portion of road
described in the Schedule hereto, shall, on and after the date
hereof, become county road.

SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that portion of road situated in Blocks V and VI, Tauhoa
Survey District, commencing at its intersection with Burma
Road and proceeding thence in a southerly direction generally
for a distance of approximately 1 mile 23 chains and terminating at the southernmost corner of Section 3, Block V,
Tauhoa Survey District, marked A-B on plan, and also all that
portion of road situated in Blocks V and VI, Tauhoa Survey
District, commencing at the southernmost corner of Section 1,
Block V, Tauhoa Survey District and proceeding thence in an
easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 50
chains and terminating at the road angle at I.T. LXXVIII,
marked D-E on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 24892 (S.O. 46093) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red
and marked as above-mentioned.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works
hereby (a) declares that, sufficient agreements to that effect
having been entered into, the land described in the First
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation and river
control purposes and the land described in the Second Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for road from and after the 12th day of
April 1971; and (b) further declares the land described in
the said First Schedule to be Crown Land subject to the Land
Act 1948 as from the 12th day of April 1971.
