Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the
Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
set apart as a Maori reservation for the purposes of ancient
burial ground, place of historical interest, and place of scenic
beauty for the common use and benefit of the beneficial owners
and of the Maori peoples of New Zealand generally.

Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities

Pursuant to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956
(as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans
Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to
the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary
to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents
to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the
Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective
amounts specified in that Schedule.

The Road Classification (Piako County) Notice No. 1, 1971

Pursuant to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1969*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Piako County) Notice No. 1, 1971.
  2. The Piako County Council's proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.
  3. So much of the notices dated the 26th day of January 1959† and the 2nd day of December 1965‡, as relates to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

NOTICE is hereby given that land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act 1949 as permanent State forest land.

RURAL Sections 23504 and 24535, situated in Block XIV, Mount Thomas Survey District: area, 23 acres 2 roods, more or less. All the land in transfer 798931 (S.O. Plan 4046).

As shown on plans S. 67/3 and S. 67/4 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington.
