The Traffic (Waipa County) Notice No. 1, 1971
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waipa County) Notice No. 1, 1971.
2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

   The Traffic (Porirua City) Notice No. 1, 1971
   Pursuant to subclause (5) of regulation 18 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
   NOTICE
3. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Porirua City) Notice No. 1, 1971.
4. The Minister of Transport hereby consents to the erection of flashing red lights at the places described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of traffic control in terms of regulation 18, subclause (4) of the Traffic Regulations 1956.
   SCHEDULE
   Situated within Porirua City, on the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff), at a point 1.9 miles measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Mungavin Avenue (as shown on the plan T.T. 4031 deposited in the Head Office of the Ministry of Transport, Wellington).

   Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work near Kirikopuni and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land
   Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 5th day of April 1971.

   Cancellation of the Vesting in the Palmerston North City Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve
   Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Palmerston North, and revokes the reservation for gravel pit purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

   Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised
   Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for road purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Hamilton City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council's reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other public reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for public reserves.
