Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954—Proposed Cancellation of Registration of Industrial Union
Pursuant to section 85 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Marlborough Timber Industry Employees' Industrial Union of Workers, Registered No. 1943, situated at 29 Warwick Street, Blenheim, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled on the expiration of 6 weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

South Auckland Education Board—Election of Member

Acquisition of Land for Scenic Purposes

Pursuant to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under the Department of Agriculture Act 1953, for the purposes of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the following Special Order made by the Taupo County Council on 23 February 1971 is hereby published:
SPECIAL ORDER
"THAT the Council of the County of Taupo acting in pursuance of the powers conferred upon it by the Counties Act 1956 and
the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 hereby resolves by way of special order to declare the under-mentioned plant
Welted thistle (Carduus crispus)
to be a noxious weed within the whole of the district of the County of Taupo."
