Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation
Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the
Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
set apart as a Maori reservation for the purposes of a meeting
place for the common use and benefit of the Takihiu Kapu
of the Ngati Raukawa tribe and the Tanenuiarangi Kapu of
the Rangitane tribe.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land situated in Block IV, Moutere Survey
District, and described as follows:

Setting Apart Land as a Maori Reservation
WHEREAS by notice dated 27 April 1970, and published in
Gazette, 30 April 1970, No. 25, page 754, the land described in
the First Schedule hereto was set apart as a Maori reservation,
and whereas it is now desired to extend the reservation to con-
tain adjoining land as recommended by the Maori Land Court;
now, therefore, pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs
Act 1953, notice is hereby given as follows.
NOTICE

  1. The reservation constituted by notice dated 27 April 1970,
    and published in Gazette, 30 April 1970, No. 25, page 754,
    relating to the land described in the First Schedule hereto is
    hereby cancelled.
  2. The whole of the land described in the Second Schedule
    hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the pur-
    pose of a meeting place for the common use and benefit of
    members of the Ngati Kapu Tribe.
    FIRST SCHEDULE
    WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
    ALL that piece of land situated in Block V, Ikitara Survey
    District, and described as follows:

    SECOND SCHEDULE
    WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
    ALL those pieces of land situated in Block V, Ikitara Survey
    District, and described as follows:

    0 2 6 Ngongohau No. 9A.
    0 3 18 Matahiwi.

    grounds, source of water supply, and place of historical and
    scenic interest for the common use and benefit of the members

    tribes.

    The Road Classification (Manawatu County) Notice No. 1, 1971
    Pursuant to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regu-
    lations 1969*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the
    following notice.
    NOTICE
  3. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification
    (Manawatu County) Notice No. 1, 1971.
  4. The Manawatu County Council's proposed classification
    of the road as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby
    approved.
  5. So much of the notice dated the 10th day of May 1961†
    as relates to the classification of the road described in the
    Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

    Pursuant to section 85 of the Industrial Conciliation and
    Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration
    of the New Zealand Master Bakers' and Pastrycooks' Industrial
    Association of Employers, Registered No. 1732, situated at
    Fifth Floor, National Bank Building, Featherston Street, Wel-
    lington, is hereby cancelled as from the date of the publica-
    tion of this notice in the Gazette.
