PURSUANT to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
-
(1) This order may be cited as the Te Awamutu, Kawhia, Alexandra, Otorohanga, and Otorohanga County Pest Destruction Districts Abolition Order 1971.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1971. -
The pest destruction districts known as Te Awamutu (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 19th day of August 1961*), Kawhia (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 24th day of September 1947†), Alexandra (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 11th day of May 1949‡), Otorohanga (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 3rd day of May 1934§), and Otorohanga County, are hereby abolished.

Declaring Lands in the Nelson Land District to be Subject to the Provisions of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

PURSUANT to section 167 of the Coal Mines Act 1925, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby declare the lands described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to the operations of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925.

PART Section 59, Town of Denniston (formerly residence site licence No. 835, Westport Registry) situated in Block VI, Kawatiri Survey District: area, 20 perches, more or less (S.O. Plan 10980).
Section 47, Block VI, Kawatiri Survey District (formerly residence site licence No. 10788, Westport Registry): area, 15.5 perches, more or less (S.O. Plan 10981).
