THE HON. D. J. RIDDIFORD PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the date hereof, be added to and form part of the Urewera National Park and shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with by the Urewera National Park Board in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.

SECTIONS 3, 7, and 8, Block V, Ahikereru Survey District, and Sections 6 and 7, Block VI, Ahikereru Survey District. Area: 1,467 acres and 2 roods, more or less. All provisional register, Volume 185, folio 63, and certificate of title, Volume 86, folio 152 (S.O. Plans 22864, 44413, 44868).

Pursuant to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the East Waikato Pest Destruction District Order 1971.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1971. - The boundaries of the East Waikato Pest Destruction District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 15th day of December 1931* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF EAST WAIKATO PEST DESTRUCTION DISTRICT
All that area in the South Auckland Land District, Matamata County and Matamata and Putaruru Boroughs, containing 351,020 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station 909, Waianuanu, at the easternmost corner of Block XVI, Wairere Survey District, and proceeding south-easterly generally along the boundary of Matamata County as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1969, page 753, to a point due east of the southern boundary of Block VII, Tapapa East Survey District; thence to and along the southern boundaries of Blocks VII, VI, V, and IV, Tapapa East Survey District, to the generally western boundary of Block I, Patetere North East Survey District; thence along that boundary to and along the generally north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of part Section 166, Block I aforesaid, the generally southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. S10485, the north-western boundaries of Sections 76 and 77A, Block I aforesaid, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the southern side of No. 5 State Highway; thence easterly along that side to the western boundary of Section 77, Block III, Patetere North East Survey District; thence along that boundary, the generally northern boundary of part Section I, Block III aforesaid, and the generally eastern boundary of Patetere North Survey District, to the northern boundary of Part Whaiti Kuranui 1A5; thence easterly, southerly and easterly along the northern and eastern
boundaries of 1A5 aforesaid, the western boundary of Section I, Block V, Patetere North East Survey District, along a right line to and along the western and southern boundaries of Section 2, Block VIII, Patetere North East Survey District, to the north-western boundary of part section 10, Block XIII, Rotorua Survey District; thence south-westerly and easterly along the north-western and southern boundaries of part Section 10 aforesaid, to and southerly along the western boundary of Section 2, Block I, Horohoro Survey District, and its production to the southern side of Cochrane Road; thence easterly along that roadside to the eastern boundary of Mata-mata County (New Zealand Gazette, 1969, p. 753); thence southerly along that boundary to the middle of the Mokai-haha Stream in Block V, Horohoro Survey District; thence westerly down the middle of that stream and the middle of the Opakau Stream to the eastern boundary of part Te Ranga No. 2; thence northerly along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Whakapiwai Stream; thence westerly down the middle of that stream and the middle of the Ngutu-wera Stream to and south-westerly along the middle of Kokako Road to the middle of No. 1 State Highway; thence north-westerly along the middle of that highway to and south-westerly generally along the middle of Wiltsdown Road to a point in line with the western boundary of Waotu South 14, in Block I, Patetere South Survey District; thence southerly generally to and along that boundary and the northern, western, and southern boundaries of part Lot 1, D.P. 22069, to the eastern boundary of Part Matanuku No. 3; thence southerly and westerly along that boundary and the eastern and southern boundaries of another part Matanuku No. 3, to the eastern boundary of Section II, Block V, Patetere South Survey District; thence westerly generally along the eastern and southern boundaries of Section 11 aforesaid, the southern end of Waotu South Road, the southern boundary of Section 10, Block V aforesaid, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Waikato River; thence north-westerly and north-easterly generally along the boundaries of the Matamata County (New Zealand Gazette, 1969, p. 753) to the point of commencement.

Authorising the Auckland Harbour Board to Reclaim Endowment Foreshore in the Whau River

Pursuant to section 175 (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Auckland Harbour Board to reclaim from the Whau River, an area of 1 rood 20 perches, more or less, of endowment land as shown edged red on plan M.D. 14011 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.
