“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of four hundred and twenty-two thousand dollars ($422,000) to be known as the Library Additional Loan 1970, $422,000, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of meeting the additional costs of constructing a central library building, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of point nought nine (.09) of lc in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property (of Auckland City) comprising the whole of the City of Auckland, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Redemption Loan No. 73, 1971—$38,600
CERTIFIED copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Auckland City Council held on the 10th day of March 1971.
“That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of thirty-eight thousand six hundred dollars ($38,600) to be known as the Redemption Loan No. 73, 1971—$38,600, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Avondale Drainage Loan 1957 of $508,000 which matures on 1 May 1971, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of point nought one nought five (.0105) of 1c in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of Auckland City comprising the whole of the City of Auckland, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RODNEY COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Mangatawhiri Bridge Loan 1971, $58,000
THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rodney County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $58,000, authorised to be raised by the Rodney County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing a bridge across the upper channel of the Whangateau Harbour, the said Rodney County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0385 cents in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the County of Rodney, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the said loan is fully paid off.”
