Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement
to that effect having been entered into, the land described in

Motorway from and after the 22nd day of March 1971.

Christchurch City Council Electric Lines Licence 1959,
Amendment No. 5

Pursuant to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity
hereby amends the Christchurch City Council Electric Lines
Licence 1959* as amended by the Christchurch City Council
Electric Lines Licence 1959, Amendment No. 1
(Gazette, 15 August 1963, p. 1158), the Christchurch City
Council Electric Lines Licence 1959, Amendment No. 2
(Gazette, 20 May 1965, p. 789), the Christchurch City Council
Electric Lines Licence 1959, Amendment No. 3
(Gazette, 9 December 1965, p. 2150), and the Christchurch City
Council Electric Lines Licence 1959, Amendment No. 4
(Gazette, 6 June 1968, p. 942) by adding to the First Schedule
thereto the following:

"8. A line for the transmission of electrical energy commencing
from the New Zealand Electricity Department's substation
at Islington and proceeding generally northerly to and across
Roberts Road, Buchanans Road, and Yaldhurst Road thence
easterly generally across Ryans Road to the centre line of
Russley Road all being situated in Block IX, Christchurch
Survey District, the said line being more particularly shown as
a red line on plans marked N.Z.E.D. 823 and 824, deposited in
the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at
Wellington.

"9. A line for the transmission of electrical energy commencing
from the New Zealand Electricity Department's substation
at Islington and proceeding generally in a south-easterly
direction to and across the Main South Railway, the Main
South Road, Shands Road, the Southbridge Branch Railway,
Springs Road, Wilmer Road, McTeigues Road and Carrs
Road to the centre line of Middle Lincoln Road, and generally
easterly from the eastern side of Worsley Road, across Dyers
Pass Road to the western side of Dry Bush Road and generally
northerly from the western boundary of D.P. 1460, across Port
Hills Road, Scruttons Road, Christchurch-Lyttelton Railway
to the north-western boundary of Pt. R.S. 329 the said line all
being situated in Blocks IX, XIII, XIV, XV, and XVI, Christ-
church Survey District, being more particularly shown by red
lines on plans N.Z.E.D. 825, 826, 827, and 828, deposited in
the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at
Wellington."*

The Traffic (Hamilton City) Notice 1971

Pursuant to subclause 5 of regulation 18 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hamilton City) Notice 1971.

2. The Minister of Transport hereby consents to the erection
   of flashing red lights at the places described in the Schedule
   hereto for the purposes of traffic control, in terms of regulation
   18, subclause 4, of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

SCHEDULE

Situated within Hamilton City on Anglesea Street outside the
Hamilton Fire Station, at the points marked on the plan
TT. 4030 deposited in the Head Office of the Ministry of
Transport, Wellington.
