Defining the Middle Line of a Further Portion of the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway in Blocks I, V, IX, and XIII, Komakorau Survey District, Waikato County, and Previous Proclamation Revoked
ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 30th day of September 1970, and published in Gazette, 15 October 1970, Volume III, p. 1860, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Hamilton as No. S. 499713, and hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of a further portion of the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only the lands situated within the limits of the area shown coloured red on the plan marked M.O.W. 23310 (S.O. 44880, 3 sheets) referred to in the said Schedule.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 23310 (S.O. 44880, 3 sheets) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Authorising the Port Chalmers Borough Council to Provide and Maintain a War Memorial

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 1st day of March 1971 Present:
THE RIGHT HON. SIR KEITH HOLYOAKE, G.C.M.G., C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 15 of the Finance Act 1919, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves the provision and maintenance by the Port Chalmers Borough Council of a monument as a permanent war memorial on a site in the Centennial Gardens in the Borough of Port Chalmers, as shown on a plan marked T. 49/502 filed in the office of the Treasury at Wellington.

Authorising the Timaru Harbour Board to Reclaim Endowment Land at Timaru

Pursuant to section 175 (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Timaru Harbour Board to reclaim from the sea at Timaru an area of 1 rood 13 perches of endowment land, more or less, as shown edged green on plan M.D. 14063, deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.
