PURSUANT to section 34 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the N.I.M.T. Railway from and after the 1st day of March 1971.

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes. This declaration shall take effect from and after the 1st day of March 1971.

The Tauranga City Council Water, Power, and Electric Lines Licence 1958, Amendment No. 3
PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity hereby amends the Tauranga City Council Water, Power, and Electric Lines Licence 1958* as amended by the Tauranga City Council Water, Power, and Electric Lines Licence 1958, Amendment No. 1 (Gazette, 21 May 1959, p. 646), and further amended by the Tauranga City Council Water, Power, and Electric Lines Licence 1958, Amendment No. 2 (Gazette, 13 June 1968, p. 995), by including in clause (2) of the First Schedule thereto the following paragraph:
"(c) Commencing from McLarens Falls Power House and proceeding generally in a north-westerly direction in D.P.
10766, Part 3, Blocks I, V, Otanewainuku Survey District, such line being more particularly shown, coloured red and yellow, on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 818, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington."

Licensing the South Otago Freezing Co. Ltd. of Balclutha to Erect and Use Electric Lines
PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity hereby licenses the South Otago Freezing Co. Ltd., of Balclutha, subject to the following conditions, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS
- This licence is subject to compliance with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and all regulations made in amendment of or in substitution for any of those regulations.
- The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraph (a) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967, and shall be an alternating current system.
- The licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 31st day of March 1992.
SCHEDULE
ELECTRIC lines crossing Riverbank Road generally in an easterly direction, being situated in Block XXII, Clutha Survey District; as shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 817 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Te Aroha Borough Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Te Aroha and revokes the reservation over that part of the reserve for water conservation purposes described in the Schedule hereto.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT-OHINEMURI COUNTY Part Sections 135 and 146, Block IX, Aroha Survey District: area, 7 acres and 22.6 perches, more or less. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 42289, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red (S.O. Plan 45120).

Change of Purpose of a Reserve and Declaration That Land be Part of the French Pass Scenic Reserve
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a lighthouse reserve to a reserve for scenic purposes, and further, declares the said reserve to form part of the French Pass Scenic Reserve, to be administered as a scenic reserve by the Croisilles-French Pass-D'Urville Island Reserves Board.
