The Traffic (Waiapu County) Notice No. 1, 1971

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waiapu County) Notice No. 1, 1971.

2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

3. The notice under regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956* dated 28th day of June 1961† which relates to Tikitiki in Waiapu County is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Waiapu County at Tikitiki:

No. 35 State Highway (Opotiki-Gisborne via Te Araroa) (from a point 13 chains measured westerly generally along the said State highway from Tikitiki - Rangitukia Road to a point 26 chains measured south-westerly generally along the said State highway from the said road).

Tikitiki - Rangitukia Road (from the No. 35 State highway (Opotiki-Gisborne via Te Araroa): to a point 21 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said road from the said State highway).

The Traffic (Mangonui County) Notice No. 1, 1971

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Mangonui County) Notice No. 1, 1971.

2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, to the intent that a person driving any motor vehicle thereon at any time during the period commencing with the 20th day of December in each year and ending with the 10th day of February in the next ensuing year, and the period commencing with the Thursday preceding Easter and ending with the Tuesday following Easter each year shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of thirty-miles-an-hour fixed by the said section.

4. The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 dated the 15th day of December 1959 which relates to the Mangonui County at Ahipara is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Mangonui County at Ahipara:

Takahe Road, Kakapo Road, Moa Street, Tui Street, Kotare Street, Weka Street, Kaka Street.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Mangonui County at Ahipara:

Ahipara Foreshore Road (from a point 11 chains measured north-westerly generally along Ahipara Foreshore Road from Roma Road to a point 115 chains measured north-westerly and south-westerly generally along Ahipara Foreshore Road from Roma Road).

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Whangarei County) Notice No. 1, 1971.

2. The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

4. The notice under regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956* dated the 18th day of October 1961† which relates to Marsden Point and One Tree Point in Whangarei County is hereby revoked.
