The Traffic (Waikato County) Notice No. 1, 1971

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport
hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waikato County)
   Notice No. 1, 1971.

2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby
   declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the
   purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waikato County, at Gordonton:

Hamilton-Tauhei Road (from a point 12 chains measured
north-westerly generally along Hamilton-Tauhei Road from
Woodlands Road to a point 28 chains measured south-easterly
generally along Hamilton-Tauhei Road from Woodlands
Road).

The Traffic (Clutha County) Notice No. 1, 1971

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport
hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Clutha County)
   Notice No. 1, 1971.

2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby
   declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes of regulation
   27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

3. The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949
   and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the
   27th day of April 1959†, which relates to Clydevale in Clutha
   County, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Clutha County at Clydevale:

Waiwera-Clydevale Road (from a point 16 chains measured
south-westerly generally along the said road from Lambourne
Road to the western end of the Clydevale Bridge).

Clydevale-Clinton Road (from the Waiwera-Clydevale Road
to a point 6 chains measured northerly generally along the
said road from the Waiwera-Clydevale Road).

Back Road (from the Waiwera-Clydevale Road to a point
20 chains measured north-westerly generally along the said
road from the Waiwera-Clydevale Road).

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby declares that the reserve for scenic purposes
described in the Schedule hereto and known as part of the
Stanley Road Scenic Reserve shall hereafter be known as the
Stanley Falls Scenic Reserve.

Declaration that Land is a Public Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was
passed by the Whakatane Borough Council on the 18th day of
May 1970: “That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it
by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the
Whakatane Borough Council hereby resolves that the piece of
land held by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the said
Borough in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto
shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a public reserve
for scenic purposes within the meaning of the said Act to form
part of the Whakatane Wairere Falls Scenic Reserve”.
