Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block X1, Rangiriri
Survey District, Raglan County, for Soil Conservation and
River Control Purposes

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work,
namely, the construction of the Lower Waikato - Waipa River
Control Scheme and for the purposes of that public work the
land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected
by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of
the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution
of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not
being objections to the amount or payment of compensation,
set forth the same in writing and send the written objection
within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the
Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is
made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the
objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires
and each objector will be advised of the time and place of
the hearing.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

All that piece of land containing 1 acre and 17 perches
situated in Block XI, Rangiriri Survey District, being Allot-
ment 20B2A, Parish of Pepepe, excluding thereout all mines,
beds, veins, and deposits of coal, cannel oil, shale, and fire-
clay and subject to certain easements created in and by transfer
45800. All certificate of title, No. 11A/8, South Auckland Land
Registry.

Land and Easements Over Land Taken for the Purposes of a
Post Office in the City of Christchurch

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works hereby declares that sufficient agreements
to that effect having been entered into, the land described in
the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of
a post office and the pedestrian right of way easement described
in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes
of a post office over the land described in the Sixth Schedule
hereto, and the right of way easement described in the Third
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a post
office over the land described in the Seventh Schedule hereto
and the sewage easement described in the Fourth Schedule
hereto and the stormwater drainage easement described in the
Fifth Schedule hereto are hereby taken for the purposes of a
post office over the land described in the Sixth and Seventh
Schedules hereto from and after the 20th day of December
1971.

FIRST SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

Land Taken for a Post Office

All those pieces of land situated in the City of Christchurch
described as follows:

A. R. P. Being
0 0 5.6 Part Lot 1, D.P. 26613, part Rural Section 154;
coloured blue on plan.
0 0 8.5 Part Lot 3, D.P. 6553, part Rural Section 154;
coloured orange on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 25728 (S.O. 11601) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as
above-mentioned.

SECOND SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

Description of Pedestrian Right of Way Easement

THE full and free right in perpetuity for Her Majesty the Queen
and all others from time to time and at all times to pass and
repass on foot only over the land described in the Sixth
Schedule hereto for the purposes of providing access to the
post office; such pedestrian right of way easement to be held
appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto.

THIRD SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

Description of Right of Way Easement

THE full and uninterrupted right in perpetuity for Her Majesty
the Queen and all others from time to time and at all times
to go, pass, and repass with or without horses or other animals
or vehicles over the land described in the Seventh Schedule
hereto for the purpose of providing access to the post office;
such right of way easement to be held appurtenant to the land
described in the First Schedule hereto.

FOURTH SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

Description of Sewage Easement

THE full free and uninterrupted right in perpetuity for Her
Majesty the Queen to drain, discharge, or convey sewage and
other waste material and fluid in any quantities through pipes
under that part of the land described in the Sixth and Seventh
Schedules hereto and for that purpose to lay, construct, place,
reconstruct, cleanse, repair, and maintain a line of pipes along,
over, or under the above-described land together with the full,
free, and uninterrupted right in perpetuity for Her Majesty, her
servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all
times hereafter to go, pass, and repass over the above-described
land for the maintenance and repair of the said line of pipes;
such sewage easement to be held appurtenant to the land
described in the First Schedule hereto.

FIFTH SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

Description of Stormwater Drainage Easement

THE full and free right in perpetuity for Her Majesty the Queen
to drain and discharge storm and surface water in any
quantities through pipes under, along, and across that part of
the land described in the Sixth and Seventh Schedules hereto
and to include the full and free right in perpetuity for Her
Majesty, her servants, agents, and workmen to enter upon the
above-described land to do such work as may be necessary for
the maintenance and repair of the said line of pipes; such
stormwater drainage easement to be held appurtenant to the
land described in the First Schedule hereto.

SIXTH SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

Land Over Which Pedestrian Right of Way and Sewage and
Stormwater Drainage Easements are Taken

ALL those pieces of land situated in the City of Christchurch
described as follows:

A. R. P. Being
0 0 0.8 Part Lot 1, D.P. 6553, and being part Rural Section
154; coloured orange on plan.
0 0 2.9 Part Lot 2, D.P. 26613, and being part Rural
Section 154; coloured orange on plan.
0 0 0.3 Part Lot 1, D.P. 26613, and being part Rural
Section 154; coloured blue on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 25728 (S.O. 11601) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as
above-mentioned.

Land Over Which Right of Way and Sewage and Stormwater
Drainage Easements Are Taken

ALL that piece of land containing 4 perches situated in the City
of Christchurch, being part Lots 3 and 4, D.P. 6553, and being
part Rural Section 154; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 25728 (S.O. 11601)
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured orange.
