"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $1,000,000 authorised to be raised by the Tauranga City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing mains and pumping stations for sewerage disposal within the City of Tauranga, the said Tauranga City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point two nought six five cents (.2065c) in the dollar on the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of rateable property in the City of Tauranga, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

BAY OF ISLANDS ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Bay of Islands Electric Power Board Development Loan No. 25 (1970), $320,000

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendments and regulations made thereunder respectively, and all other powers it enabling, the Bay of Islands Electric Power Board resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of the principal, interest, and other charges on the Board's Development Loan No. 25 (1970) of $320,000 authorised to be raised by the Bay of Islands Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of supplying and distributing electrical energy for the benefit of the Bay of Islands Electric Power District, and for such purpose to do all or any of such matters and things which the Board is empowered to do by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and its amendments and by all other powers and authorities it enabling, the Bay of Islands Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.12 of one cent in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Bay of Islands Electric Power District; such special rate to be annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of December in each and every year, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully repaid."

PUKEKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Property Purchase Loan 1970, $44,500

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Pukekohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of forty-four thousand five hundred dollars ($44,500) to be known as the Property Purchase Loan 1970, authorised to be raised by the Pukekohe Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing properties for municipal purposes, the Pukekohe Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought five (.05) cents upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Pukekohe; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

EAST COAST BAYS BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Beach Road Loan 1970, $50,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the East Coast Bays Borough Council resolves:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $50,000 authorised to be raised by the East Coast Bays Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of reconstructing part of Beach Road, the said Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two two nought nine cents in the dollar (.02209c in $) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the said Borough and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until such loan is paid off and the said Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge the said rate as security for the said loan.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Supplementary Loan—Doctor's Residence and Surgery, $1,800 PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Raetihi Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $1,800 authorised to be raised by the Raetihi Borough Council for the purpose of completing the Doctor’s Residence and Surgery, Islington Street, the said Raetihi Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of $0.00058 in the dollar on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Raetihi; such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable on the 15th day of January in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
