PAPARUA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Paparua County Council hereby resolved as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $12,490.00 authorised to be raised by the Paparua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Hornby Development Loan 1963, of $80,000.00, which matures on 15 April 1970, the said Paparua County Council makes a special rate of 0.000078 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all the rateable property in the area included in the loan; and that the special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly, on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Paparua County Council hereby resolved as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $70,000 authorised to be raised by the Paparua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing and improving kerbing, channelling, roading, and footpaths in the Halswell County Town area, the said Paparua County Council makes a special rate of 0.1314c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all the rateable property within the Paparua County; and that the special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Paparua County Council hereby resolved as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $140,000 authorised to be raised by the Paparua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the construction of a sewerage system in the Halswell urban area, the said Paparua County Council makes a special rate of 0.29156c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all the rateable property within the Paparua County; and that the special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

CLUTHA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Owaka Sewerage Loan 1969

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Clutha County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of eighty-eight thousand dollars ($88,000) authorised to be raised by the Clutha County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of installing a sewerage disposal system for Owaka Township, the said Clutha County Council hereby makes a special rate of thirteen decimal nought nine (13.09) cents in the dollar upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Owaka Urban Drainage

to do by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and its amendments and by all other powers and authorities it enabling, the Central Waikato Electric-power Board hereby makes a special rate of decimal .0297 of a cent in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Central Waikato Electric-power District; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable annually on the 15th day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully repaid.”

The foregoing resolution was duly passed by the Central Waikato Electric-power Board at a meeting of the Board held on the 11th day of February 1970.

WANGANUI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Bridges Loan No. 5, 1969—$60,000,

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wanganui County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $60,000 authorised to be raised by the Wanganui County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the Council's share of the cost of renewing bridges in the county, the said Wanganui County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0437c in the $1 on the capital ratable value of the County of Wanganui; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

MARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Marton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $60,000 authorised to be raised by the Marton Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of improving the borough’s water supply, the said Marton Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point two five cents (.25c) in the dollar ($) on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Marton; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate, during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years or until the loan is paid off.”

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Streetworks Loan 1969, of $150,000

The following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 2nd day of February 1970:

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to be known as Streetworks Loan 1969, of $150,000, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the abovementioned Act for the purpose of constructing, reconstructing, strengthening, and improving streets in the city, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one of a cent (.01c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
