Water Pipe-line Easement Taken for Defence Purposes over Land in the Borough of Papakura, and Previous Proclamation Revoked

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 25th day of June 1941 and published in the Gazette, 3 July 1941, Volume II, at page 2058, taking a water pipe-line easement over land in Block IV, Drury Survey District, for defence purposes, in so far as it affects the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and hereby proclaim and declare that a water pipe-line easement is hereby taken for defence purposes, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, maintain, repair, and use a water pipe-line in, under, or over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, with the right for Her Majesty’s servants, agents, and workmen, from time to time and at all times, to enter upon the said land for the purpose of inspecting, cleaning, and repairing the said pipes and maintaining the same in good and satisfactory order, such easement being appurtenant to the land described in the Third Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 23rd day of February 1970.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 9th day of February 1970
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the date hereof, be added to and form part of the Arthur’s Pass National Park, and shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with by the Arthur’s Pass National Park Board in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.
