MANAWATU COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Foxton Beach Water Supply Loan 1970
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manawatu County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $120,000 authorised to be raised by the Manawatu County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for partly financing the cost of a water supply scheme for Foxton Beach County Town, the said Manawatu County Council hereby makes a special rate of 1.4812 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Foxton Beach County Town, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Manawatu County Council on the 14th day of December 1970.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Renewal Loan No. 4, 1970 of $104,600
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 7th day of December 1970:
"Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and four thousand six hundred dollars ($104,600) to be known as Renewal Loan No. 4 1970 of $104,600, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Abattoir Loan 1959 of $1,000,000 and Renewal Loan 1964 of $1,097,400 which mature on 1 February 1971, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought six of a cent (.006c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

MARLBOROUGH COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Marlborough County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $60,000 authorised to be raised by the Marlborough County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of advancing money to farmers pursuant to the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Marlborough County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two nine cents (.029c) in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the County of Marlborough; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

NELSON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Storm Water Drainage Loan No. 2, 1970
THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Nelson City Council hereby resolves that for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of $512,000 to be known as the Storm Water Drainage Loan No. 2 1970 authorised to be raised by the Nelson City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of improving the storm water drainage in the City of Nelson; the Nelson City Council hereby makes, and levies a special rate of 0.15354 cents in the $ upon the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all the rateable property in the City of Nelson comprising the whole of the said City and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 15th day of August each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until such loan is paid off.
I hereby certify that the following resolution was passed by the Nelson City Council at a meeting held in the City Council Chambers, Trafalgar Street, Nelson, on 10 December 1970.

KIWITEA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan No. 3, 1970--$50,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kiwitea County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000), authorised to be raised by the Kiwitea County Council under the abovementioned Act, for the purposes of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Kiwitea County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.07068 cents in the dollar on the rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the County of Kiwitea, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
