Notice of Meeting of Creditors

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Gorge Lime Ltd. notice is hereby given pursuant to section 269 (1) of the Companies Act 1955, that by an entry in its minute book, the above-named company on the 9th day of December 1970, resolved by way of extraordinary resolution, that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up voluntarily.

A meeting of the creditors of the above-named company will be held in the Library, Chamber of Commerce Building, corner of Oxford Terrace and Worcester Street, Christchurch, on Friday, the 18th day of December 1970, at 2.15 p.m.

Business:

  1. Consideration of a statement of the position of the company’s affairs and list of creditors, etc.
  2. Nomination of liquidator.
  3. Appointment of committee of inspection if thought fit.

A general form of proxy is enclosed.

Proxies to be used at the meeting must be lodged at the registered office of the company, care of McCormack, Mackay and Co., T. and G. Building, 190 Hereford Street, Christchurch, not later than 4 p.m. on the 17th day of December 1970.

IN the matter of Golden Coast Co-operative Dairy Co. Ltd. (in voluntary liquidation) and in the matter of the Companies Act 1955, take notice that, in pursuance of section 291 of the above-named Act, the final general meeting of members of the above-named company will be held at the office of the liquidator, Mr Henry James Wicks, Argus Buildings, Tarapuhi Street, Greymouth, on Wednesday, the 10th day of February 1971, at 11 a.m., for the purpose of laying before such meeting the account of the winding up of the above-named company and of giving any explanation thereof.

(in voluntary liquidation), notice is hereby given that a meeting of the creditors of the company will be held pursuant to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, at the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce library, corner of Oxford Terrace and Worcester Street, Christchurch, on Thursday, 17 December 1970, at 10.30 a.m., at which meeting the special resolution for winding up will be considered and a full statement of the company’s affairs, together with a list of creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting, at which meeting the creditors pursuant to section 285 of the said Act may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company, and pursuant to section 286 of the said Act may appoint a committee of inspection.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was on the 11th day of November 1970, presented to the said Court by THE COMMISSIONER OF INLAND REVENUE and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on the 26th day of February 1971, at 10 o’clock a.m.; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an Order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.
