Reservation of Land and Vesting in the New Lynn Borough Council

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for road, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of New Lynn in trust, for that purpose.

The Magistrates' Courts Act 1947, Transfer of Records of Abolished Courts

WHEREAS in pursuance of a direction of His Excellency the Governor-General, the sittings of the Magistrates' Courts at Culverden and Foxton are to be discontinued as from the 31st day of January 1971:

Now, therefore, pursuant to the provisions of subsection (1) of section 70 of the Magistrates' Courts Act 1947, I do direct that the records of the Magistrates' Courts at Culverden and Foxton be delivered on the 1st day of February 1971, or as soon thereafter as may be practicable, to the Registrars of the Magistrates' Courts at Rangiora and Levin respectively.

Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 42) 1970

PURSUANT to regulation 16 of the Import Control Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 42) 1970. (b) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. Goods of the class specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff items in the Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1969*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Warkworth District) Notice No. 1, 1970.

  2. The Warkworth Town Council's proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

  3. The warrants dated the 27th day of August 1966†, the 30th day of June 1966‡, and the 1st day of June 1950§, which relate to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto are hereby revoked.
