RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Titirangi Fire Appliance Loan 1970, $21,000
THAT pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $21,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitemata
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of acquiring a new fire appliance for the Titirangi
Fire Brigade, the said Waitemata County Council hereby
makes a special rate of 0.0027 cents in the dollar on the
rateable unimproved value of all rateable property situate in
the County of Waitemata and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each year during
the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.

Orewa County Town Sewer Reticulation Loan 1969, $1,341,000
THAT pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $1,341,000, authorised to be raised by the Waitemata
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of installing sewerage reticulation and sewage treatment
for the Orewa County Town, the said Waitemata County
Council hereby makes a special rate of 1.9025 cents in the
dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable
property situate in the Orewa County Town and that the
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan; and be payable yearly on the 1st day of
June in each and every year during the currency of the loan,
being a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Redemption Loan No. 7, 1970
THAT whereas the sum of $24,800 borrowed by the Waitemata
County Council under the Water Supply Development Loan
No. 1, 1964, $164,000 is due and payable on the 2nd day of
November 1970 and whereas the sum of $22,100 is required
to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County Council in
exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local
Authorities Loans Act 1956 hereby resolves:
(a) To borrow the sum of $22,100 for the purpose of repaying the said loan.
(b) That the sum of $22,100 shall be payable on the 1st
day of November 1994 or such earlier date as may be
determined by Council.
(c) That for the purpose of providing interest, principal,
and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 7, 1970 the
said Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0017 cents in
the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable
property within the County of Waitemata, and that such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the
currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of
June in each and every year during the currency of the loan,
being a period of 24 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
(d) That authority be granted to gazette this resolution.

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Tauranga County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
Rural Housing Loan 1970, $200,000, authorised to be raised by
the Tauranga County Council under the above-mentioned Act
for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of
the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Tauranga County Council
hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought eight of a
cent (.08c) in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the
basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the
County of Tauranga and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and
be payable yearly on the 1st day of July each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
passed at a meeting of the Tauranga County Council held on
the 7th day of September 1970.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Helensville Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $44,000 authorised to be raised by the Helensville
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the
purpose of constructing a Sewage Treatment Plant, the said
Helensville Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of
decimal 574 cents in the dollar on the rateable value (on the
basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of
the Helensville Borough comprising the whole of the said
Borough, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly
on the 5th day of August in each and every year during the
currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the
loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at
a meeting of the Helensville Borough Council held on the
16th day of November 1970.
