NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CEASE TO HAVE PLACE OF BUSINESS IN NEW ZEALAND

IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of Greenhalgh’s (A. and N.Z.) Pty. Ltd., an overseas company, notice is hereby given pursuant to section 405 of the Companies Act 1955, that Greenhalgh’s (A. and N.Z.) Pty. Ltd., an overseas company, having its place of business at 14–16 Harris Street, Wellington, will cease to have a place of business in New Zealand at the expiration of 3 months from the first publication of this notice.

Notice is hereby further given that the business of Greenhalgh’s (A. and N.Z.) Pty. Ltd. will be carried on in New Zealand by a new company to be called Greenhalgh (N.Z.) Ltd. with its registered office at 14–16 Harris Street, Wellington.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Civic Square Parking Building Loan 1970, $3,730,000
CERTIFIED copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Auckland City Council held on the 11th day of November 1970:

“That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of three million, seven hundred and thirty thousand dollars ($3,730,000) to be known as the Civic Square Parking Building Loan 1970, $3,730,000 which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of constructing an underground parking building in the Civic Centre, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of point seven nine four nine (.7949) of 1c in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property (of Auckland City) comprising the whole of the City of Auckland, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Supply Improvement Renewal Loan 1970—$6,000
“THAT pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Papakura Borough Council hereby resolved as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $6,000 authorised to be raised by the Papakura Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity, those portions of the Water Supply Improvement Loan 1960, which matured on 19 December 1970, the said Papakura Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of point nought nought seven cents in the dollar (.007c in the $) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Papakura, comprising the whole of the Borough of Papakura, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

“THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Papakura Borough Council hereby resolved as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $16,000 authorised to be raised by the Papakura Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity, those portions of the Storm Water Drainage and Footpath Construction Loan 1958, which matured on 28 October 1970, the said Papakura Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of point nought one four one six cents in the dollar (.01416c in the $) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Papakura, comprising the whole of the Borough of Papakura, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act, 1956, the New Plymouth City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to be known as the Staff Housing Loan 1970 authorised to be raised by the New Plymouth City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to employees for housing purposes, the New Plymouth City Council hereby makes a special rate of nought decimal nought one one cents (0.011c) in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of New Plymouth, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan being a period of thirty (30) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the New Plymouth City Council held on the 16th day of November 1970.

Natural Gas Development Supplementary Loan 1970
PURSUANT to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the New Plymouth City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to be known as the Natural Gas Development Supplementary Loan 1970, authorised to be raised by the New Plymouth City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Natural Gas Development Loan 1969 of $250,000 was sanctioned, the New Plymouth City Council hereby makes a special rate of nought decimal nought nought six cents (0.006c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of New Plymouth, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the New Plymouth City Council held on the 16th day of November 1970.
