Declaration that Land is a Public Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Havelock North Borough Council on the 18th day of June 1970:
"That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Havelock North Borough Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the said borough in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby declared to be public reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act.

HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT—BOROUGH OF HAVELOCK NORTH Lot 2, D.P. 10178, being Part Town Section 36, Havelock, situated in Block IV, Te Mata Survey District: area, 1 rood 00.5 perches, more or less certificate of title, Volume 193, folio 4, Lot 1, D.P. 12064 being Part Town Section 35, Havelock, situated in Block IV, Te Mata Survey District: area, 1 rood 09.7 perches, more or less. Change of the Purpose of a Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a coal reserve to a reserve for scenic purposes.

Declaration That a Reserve Form Part of the Heriot Domain
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares the reserve for recreation described in the Schedule hereto to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to form part of the Heriot Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.

Notice of Proposed Exemptions From Import Licensing
Notice is hereby given that it is proposed to exempt from import licensing the goods specified in the Schedule below. New Zealand manufacturers or producers of similar goods who consider they may be affected by the exemption of any of these items may make representations within 3 months of the date of this notice.
Where valid objections to the proposed exemptions are received, the question will be referred to the Emergency Protection Authority for inquiry and report.
If no objections are received, the goods shall become exempt on 1 July 1971.
Manufacturers or producers who wish to object to the proposed exemptions should, not later than 26 February 1971, or sooner if possible, lodge a formal submission with the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington.
Four copies of submissions including supporting data such as pamphlets, price lists, etc., are required in all cases. An information sheet which sets out the details to be included in submissions may be obtained from any office of the Department of Industries and Commerce or the Customs Department.
