A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation and river control purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 30th day of November 1970.

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block I, Whakatane Survey District, described as follows:

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 24364 (S.O. 45162) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above-mentioned.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for post office purposes (repeater station), and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 30th day of November 1970.

ALL that piece of land containing 12.5 perches situated in Block IV, Tongariro Survey District, Wellington R.D., being part Okahukura 5B; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 24411 (S.O. 27104) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

PURSUANT to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, and comprised in a roadway laid out by the Maori Land Court by an order dated the 24th day of March 1923, to be road.

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 38.4 perches situated in Block III, Puketi Survey District, Wellington R.D., being part Roadway Pukawa 4C, Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 24685 (M.L. 5246) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red, edged red.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Otago Education Board as a site for a school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.
